Can't say I'm all surprised he turned out to be somebody important. Judging by his skills he shown for the last couple of chapters, I knew he couldn't have been a average joe but he's way stronger then I thought.

It somehow reminds me of the Prince of Persia... But still, I really enjoy this manga for now!

Wasn't really fond how they portrayed the boss like a weakling. Seems too cliche, but okay, it's the first "boss".

His not really a weakling. Any average man would lose to his sword but Alibaba actually had full royal training as well and probably better since he didn't had to pay for teachers but got trained by the best so he can be prepared as future king.

Woah, Alibaba is quite the swordsman. Hoping this will delve more into his past in the future. Well, I'm sure it will since it wasn't explained why he's in the situation he is now.

Hrmmm, the past thing is kind of out of place if I had to be honest, I mean it is cool learning about Alibaba's past and all, but it just doesn't fit too well at this moment in time, or rather, it kind of ruins the flow of the battle to say too much about his past at this point in time.

Nice to see a bit of Alibaba's past, but I also think it's a bit out of place as someone said above.

I don't feel like the flashback is out of place at all. The battle was finished. Adding his flashback here only enhances the badassness of his final stance and victory over the lord

Oh, so Alibaba was kind of a big deal in his past where he learned quite a lot. In comparison Jamil looks like such a weakling in his last straws. Is Aladdin gonna be ok though without his flute?

Jamil is the worst kind of antagonist. All talk and no bite. There's no glory in beating the bodies of the dead. I hope Alibaba utterly destroys him.

That flashback seemed kind of shoehorned in, but it's appreciated. Not really all that surprised he came from a rich family considering his reading skills and pretty good looks. Didn't expect him to literally be the bastard son of a king though. Jamil is just as pathetic as I thought he would be. Makes me question once more if he has family members of Morgiana as hostages or simply controls her with abuse. I'm ready for him to be killed now, but it's a shounen, so Alibaba won't give him a killing blow just like that.
