| Mimihime had been through a lot of crazy stuff. It looked like she can see the man eater's ability after taking off that little girl's glasses. Mimihime's dream of the man-eater about to drill her body like it was a surgical operating room was scary as hell. Very gruesome stuff. The adults at the facility are sussy. And the robots mandating the test are shady as well. |

| So this seems to further support my suspicions Mina is actually going rogue and influencing events there. Mimihime is really brave. Hmm did they clone Tokio's baby? It looks like it but hard to tell if they did that or something else similar. If so that supports the notion this could be in the past because one of the children could be Maru and the other is the person that looks like him hes looking for. That old woman director is cold blooded. |

In addition to some form of precognition (the baby in the drawing would be representative of his and Tokio's), Kona also has the power to feel what Tokio feels, including the excruciating pain. Kirukomaru—yeah, the combination of their names does sound like a Japanese ship; Kiruko spellchecks Maru's name from 九 (9) to 丸 (circle). The 11 from Juichi's name looks like II thus making it read like a successor to their raft. All 8 awoke from suspended animation? Is Sawatari referring to the alien-looking babies—are those where the new 5th years came from? Also "combatants" and the prototype of the Kiru-beam; the "Super Beam". So the kids were being developed as living weapons/supersoldiers? Behind the director is a painting of two deities involved in the Japanese creation myth; Izanami and Izanagi. They had two children, Hiruko v ("leech-child"), who later came to be known in Shinto as the god Ebisu. The whale-man-eater in the outro? Whales are sometimes thought as an incarnation of Ebisu... If you've wondered why the robot Mina looks pregnant; it's because the children are all born of her. Robin is alive and working inside of former Takahara Academy (too old to be staff, maybe one of the children?) Ouma will be with Hiruko in the basement of Usami's hospital! She can't control her hallucinogenic powers so she wears sunglasses like Cyclops. Seems her power is making people see their worst fears. Haruki was dismembered and eaten by a Hiruko so Ouma made Kiruko re-experience that in the basement. Mimihime's worst fear of being stabbed with needles and cut up hasn't happened to her yet. Her hallucination is based on her precognition. Recovering, Mimihime's visualises what Kona looks like in the future, his Hiruko form. He also confirms he can "synchronize" with Tokio. To teach Ouma not to be upset at "annoying others" (bit of an understatement), Mimihime uses willpower alone to destroy the vision of her phobia. The other adults don't even know what they are doing. We know Mina is working behind the director's back so she could even be intentionally producing defected "combatants". She then announces an impromptu test to "go outside the outside", and we learn the children have a role as Hiruko. This is how Mina unleashed the Hiruko/man eaters to the world outside. One of the children attending the pool assembly was Makura, Maru's future guardian that also developed Tarao's illness, as an insider, it explains why she calls Man-Eaters by a unique name. Now we have more shots of their faces in this episode, I think Taka and Anzu are Totori the Hotel King's parents, which is why she has a Hiruko core. It might even be the case all the "second-generation" Hiruko are perhaps immune to the disease. Because the Ice Baby Jugo retained ice powers from his spider hiruko mother but still has the form of a human. Two milk bottles...TWO BABIES? At the moment they're just called "Tokio Jr." and "C. Jr.". We finally have an answer on the guy with the identical face Maru is looking for (guessing C. means clone or copy, extra health back up just in case for the director or a combatant baby that remembered Tokios face?). That noise at the end sounds like waters breaking/eggs hatching. Mina is birthing some more? |

| Alright, I got it. Maru is a son of Kona and Tokio, case closed. Now Maru looking for his relative to use a cure on her, I assume Maru himself lacks a disease. |
