DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I know I'm supposed to expect this and just go with it, but the assassins "torturing" Aldra made me cringe :( I love Rebellion Aldra! She doesn't deserve any of it! I actually watched this because I thought it was Welveria's episode. Guess that's ep 3! |

| Well this was totally a hentai lol. From the fellatio, boob-groping, spanking and even NTR yuri and snake rape... It seemed low budget though with all the animation shortcuts. If they want to imply she is the viewer's waifu then they messed that scene up. The door you were looking at was the back door. The front door is where the knock came from. From that perspective, the front porch is obscured by the house. So I also reckon the husband is actually the viewer. |

| Now that was interesting. I am glad we saw the creep once again, Echidna. She is indeed a teaser and one who cares for her pupil. Somehow that was sweet. Good to see that they are now on the same track. Nice to see that her thirst for revenge is over. Took her a while, but that's understandable (at least less time than a certain person in Naruto, LOL). Aldra is one hot babe. The apron fits her perfectly. Daym that ass. Poor girl, the animators really went dark this ep. too. I liked the ecchi part with her licking the blade, but when they went with beating it just went too far imo. Doesn't suit Queen's Blade. Up to this season beating have never been a thing, but suddenly they introduced it. I have a mixed feeling about that. Anyways, looks like her petrification power is still intact. Interesting to see that she turned into a half-demon before Rebellion. The battle wasn't so good in this ep. too. Very average fights in all of that. What irritated us most, probably, was that we never were able to see her darling. I was really looking forward to that. LOL. Looks like they will tease us a bit more with her darling and her memory loss. Just as I thought as we saw in Rebellion too, the viewer is her husband. Somehow that's crazy, but I can live with that. LOL All in all, this season of Queen's Blade, Vanquished Queen, wasn't the best. I think they took it a bit far with all that beating and torturing. The animation was good, but the fights wasn't the best. Really mediocre. Some of the ecchi part was good, I got to give them that. 5/9 is a fair score. |

| They sure killed an already dying franchise with these disgusting OVAs, huh? Not to mention they never explained the reason behind Aldra's change in personality or why she and Tomoe parted ways. Well, guess they were too busy focusing on the revenge/torture porn to even care about that "insignificant" detail. |
| Yeah, I was kind of on board with the first episode, because the intense torture was a way to communicate the strong character of the girls who overcame it. That works as a once-off, a singular shocking episode to break out of the routine of the other episodes. Doing it again, and then a third time, is just gratuitous. It's not shocking with the repeat, it's just gross. And really it kills the whole vibe of the series, which is supposed to be a bit fun and silly. |

| Absolutely Disgusting. Like Irma I don't give a damn about this version of Aldra. She is barely even the same character. They didn't explain properly why she lost her memories. She still had them in the OVA, which took place after losing Delmore, so Irma's guess has to be false. Meaning we neither get an explanation for her memory loss, nor for her complete character shift from her stoic OVA persona to the dumb housewife. Don't get why they didn't just use the Swamp Witch's Curse as a plot device again, but whatever. I don't care any more. The alt Ending was definitely the worst. Why would her being r*ped mean that he would presumably just abandon her? I mean purity is important in Japan. But come on, it is not like she could do anything against Echidna without her powers. Finally there is the self-insert husband POV which just made me cringe. If they wanted her to be this lovey-dovey housewife, at least give a satisfactory explanation and show the damn husband. |
