Is this series worth watching? The synopsis on this anime seems interesting to say the least? Why or why not?

I'm just curious, please no spoilers though.

if you're looking for something like quick and simple maybe but there's nothing really compelling nor do they explore as many elements that are in the summary or tags

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. It was a good watch but nothing spectacular.

It’s a fun, quick watch to be honest. Watched it along the main hits on this season and was a nice pickup for the lineup.

Honestly it started really promising, but they ended up trying to do so much that they really didn’t do much at all. I can’t say I would highly recommend, but it is still entertaining enough if you have some time and aren’t watching anything else.

Unfortunately, despite the interesting premise and a pretty decent first episode, it becomes a real drag later on. There’s a lot of production issues that are hard to ignore (animation and music/sound mixing in particular) and a ton of episodes talking in circles about some really basic political drama where MC is bent on saving one particular person from getting executed for some bullshit reasons. If you do watch it, I recommend turning the volume down and turning it to 2x speed once you notice the characters saying the same stuff over and over, or maybe just don’t waste your time.

Depends what you are looking for, this show is very dialog focused with little fanservice, there are some battles but overall the mood is fairly relaxing.

it' start's really good, and the production is good or some what ok.
but after the second half( to say accurately around ep 5 )it's a let down, very disappointing on words. i won't recommend to any one. it's the same as this show (Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8- manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu)
https://myanimelist.net/anime/52461
just a little better.

Not at all. It focusses on two settings rather than spending more time developing the other world, and it's all the worse for it.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

Let's put it this way: It's very much your standard decent yet flawed 6/10-tier seasonal. In that it has an interesting and creative premise; perhaps even a fascinating one which if executed more competently and artistically, and if those responsible for the show were given full time allotment of maximum/unlimited number of seasons and episodes they sought plus a better budget, you could easily see it be a 7/10 or even 8/10-tier or possibly more level show, but like too many things it's rushed to the point where you intuitively get that sense even if you haven't read and aren't familiar with the original source material whatsoever, there's a painful feeling of something missing in that it's not being tapped into to realize its full potential.

A lot of seasonals I watch are like this. Great premise in theory, but the modern preference for 11 - 13 episode one-cour runs is massively crimping their style. Even though some go on to receive second or even more seasons after that, and indeed this is one which has fortunately already been confirmed for at least a second season early on, you can't shake the feeling that that uncertainly over whether they will be greenlit to continue their run affects the pacing and plotting out of the story in these beginning episodes.

The first episode was a double episode or two-parter with both halves aired back to back, and was one of the most enticing and impressive first episodes I've seen from a new seasonal in the four years I've been watching them, just in terms of the sheer variety of things they managed to touch on and how frantic yet simultaneously still coherent and information-dense it was. The remainder of the season after that was something of a letdown by comparison and gave off a feeling of riding on its coattails a bit. This series also has a lot of different settings, characters, and subplots, so there's greater potential than most perhaps for them to disappoint you/any random viewer by focusing more time and care on those aspects of it with which you're less invested and interested than others. I think that the series so far has done that already, not giving as much time to some of the more interesting plot points and characters compared to others it dwelled on instead.

I would say, like anything, watch it if you're intrigued enough by the premise. Drop it after episode two or three if you're not enamored enough with the execution of said premise as the execution will not change thereafter, at least for this first season. I watched it and don't regret doing so, because I gave it a 6/10 which is an average decent rating for me and a 6/10-tier type series is "good enough" for me to continue watching, as long as it's not something with hundreds of episodes.

The show also has some technical issues as someone else pointed out, so how much you care about that too would determine if that side of things is a dealbreaker or not. The animation is fairly limited in the sense of very limited frames during action scenes and the like which is standard fare from non-big budget anime. I personally don't really care about that as as long as it's at the most basic passable level, animation is far down on the list of my priorities for requirement of enjoyment of a series and I'm more forgiving on it than most. The music issue is a little more annoying and bothersome though. The OST is perfectly serviceable - some typical/classic low stakes, relaxing, snappy jazzy cafe-esque music fit for like a comedy adventure or Slice of Life, but it's also played too loudly over dialogue at times and used in inappropriate ways (when it starts and ends) in inappropriate scenes. Editing/mixing issues. It's palpable that even with an ever so slightly more experienced/skilled director and sound design person it could be much more effective at transmitting its intended message and emotion moment to moment.

Dunno if i would say it is worth watching.

It was something i just watched as it came out same day as frieren.

It was an ok show and with S2 green-lit, i will likely watch it.

It had an interesting concept but the story got a bit convoluted in the end. Without spoiling anything there is way too many things going on.

It was still a fun watch and probably not bad to see when waiting for other shows

No, absolutely not. It doesn’t bother expanding or diving into the numerous elements that occur in the show and the two settings it’s set in as someone said above, it’s just a massive waste of time with its shallow cast.

Haven't read the light novels, but it feels like it needed two coers to get going. a lot was set up at the end of season 1, and we'll have to wait until season 2 to see if it delivers.

I watched it and it had some enjoyable moments. I think they tried to cram too much stuff in. Magical bird from another dimension, people with psychic powers, magical man, magical girls, political intrigue, agency shenanigans, running a business, royal drama, the list goes on. if they do another season, I will probably watch and hope they focus the story more instead of it being so scatterbrained.

lemme keep it real, it was good at the begining, like really good, but for some reason the real world stuff got too convoluted and i ended up enjoying more the isekai side of things, that side itself cus of it's screen time lead to the real setting to be vastly underdeveloped.

Also for some reason every woman who shows interest in the MC is either a minor or looks like one xd, still regardless of that, a premise can only get you far enough and this show fucked up the execution, its still enjoyable and is simple fun so its worth watching if you feel like watching something fun that its easy to watch then its alright.

i seriously liked the manga, it made more sense, then you have this anime, which adapted 20 chapters with 2 episodes. Fights are a mess, cluttered, lacking impact. You have people ignoring mass killings, they just accept it as a matter of fact. I am at episode 5 and am questioning if the source material and the anime are the same thing... and whether the author is crying in the toilet seeing their work being butchered

the few first episodes are worth watching, just look at this gorgeus fantasy world background.

unfortunately the story & dialogues etc went downhill midway. too much circular dialogues eating screentime & the fight choregraphy gets worse with each episode.

I'm torn between continuing and dropping it. The anime seems appealing, but the story feels rushed. Alot of interesting things I would like to see in detail are time-skipped, especially the Fantasy World part. That said, I just watched the first 3 episodes (technically 4, since Episode 1 was 48min long), so, I don't know if the current skip-style is kept.

You know, when you have a delicious meal, and the next day you just have the fading aftertaste left in your memories? The left aftertaste is still somehow appealing, but not satisfying. That's how the anime feels like to me: Skipping the big meal and just leaving me some portions of aftertastes or sample tastes.

It starts slow at the beginning, but pace wise through the rest of the series was good, but it started to flop at the end, my honest opinion.

But it is a good watch

I am enjoying it. It seems most fall off because they want it to focus more but theres another season coming and any good long story takes more than 12 epsiodes to tell you its story. It would be like giving up on one piece for being too slow but you didn't even make it to arlong park.

If you're finding the premise of travelling between the iseaki world and Earth to trade modern goods for gold interesting, go watch "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World" instead. The problem with "Sasaki and Peeps" is it spends way too much time on way too many other mismatching things it throws in carelessly than that initial premise, "Saving 80,000 Gold" does it much much better. Heck I'd even recommend "Reborn as a Vending Machine" over "Sasaki and Peeps" for this premise. The other problem with "Sasaki and Peeps" is everything felt soul-less, it lacked drive and motivation, substance, and meaning; the characters, battles, conflicts, storylines didn't feel cheap exactly, it felt lacking and boring. I'm okay with slice of life and slow pace, that wasn't the problem here.

Not really. The Anime tries to be everything, and thus fails to be anything. Save your sanity.

In his own modern world, it is about magical girls, psychic powers and a secret company, that tries to hire the good willed psychics, to keep the bad psychics in check, trying to hide the world of psychics from the rest of the world.

In the fantasy world, it is about magic and politics. The MC is trading stuff from his modern world in the fantasy world, becoming famous and rich over there.

The whole concept is a big mess, everything comes in too short. It feels like you are watching 3 different Animes at once, alternating, and only maybe 3 or 4 episodes of each Anime, without really completing any of them. And with the last episode, it turns into a cliffhanger, from a whole different random 4th Anime.
