We get a small story surrounding the villain we've seen for a while doing murders as a doppelganger in a cruise ship (in space). It was fun to see Rouge being kinda clueless but still motivated to do justice, in a swimsuit for half of the episode, nice. That ending tho, WHAT.
I like everything, ok

How does gravity work in this universe?

Mess of an episode. This show sure doesn't know whether it wants to be a serious sci-fi mystery or a dumb bizarre comedy.

As everyone said, comedy aspect of this episode made it really enjoyable to watch, even if I'm more into the serious part about freewill and Androids

The main aspect that took me by surprise is Naomi being a traitor... she told Rouge "stay behind and don't make a fuss" in order to protect her
She didn't want to so maybe she was forced to arrest her

That's quite a way to find out the suspect, Rouge doesn't even discriminate when it comes to animals. Jaron really got blasted back to earth lol, but he's not dead...right?

When they mentioned about the impostor, considering we literally don't know any other member other than chief and the vice director, they kinda made it obvious about it being Naomi. There's always chance of a reverse betrayal too. Just at this point, there's a lot of factions in play, always best to just let it play out. Oh, and surely there's more to the twins right? Anyway, the action once again continues to be sleepy. No proper staging anymore, the show really peaked at episode 1 huh.

Another mystery for Naomi and Rogue to tackle. A shapeshifting enemy who can be anyone and anywhere. The murder case aspect wasn’t that strong, but man Rogue was great in this one. I did not expect her to actually go up and down the line punching people to lure Galion out. She definitely threw in an extra punch to the dude who said she would never get married. Idk what buddy was thinking, I’d marry her for sure.

I don’t think Galion is dead, otherwise the sphere would be lost..

But that ending wow, Naomi really called the cops on Rogue? I’m guessing because she hurt humans, but she didn’t look like it was that serious when it was actually happening.. wild twist.

Also, the “artificial species” name suggests that Neans are artificially created humans rather than androids.. very interesting. Blade runner vibes continue to get stronger
@Marinate1016 This may be one of Naomi's plan but she has to stop testing Rouge's trust. Rouge is just going to snap one of these days on her.
I haven't updated in years but now I have changed that. I'll be free soon.

I don't know if I missed some references.. the whole two Spider-Mans could've been avoided by -- y'know -- some wardrobe changes.

Also, the whole dog-kicking thing didn't make sense (wouldn't holding back a punch defeat the purpose of the interrogation) and felt like an attempt to generate a viral meme clip.

Show's kind of going downhill for me, but I'll still vibe to the OP/ED.

EP has a whole an improvement but it somehow feels like we made zero progress to whatever story they are trying to give us. Hopefully Second half shapes up more

They should have led this anime with this episode. Rouge had personality, Discount Zenigata got stabbed in the stomach, and our resident psychopath was actually entertaining instead of just being a weirdo. This episode felt more like the BONES I know. A bunch of stuff in the background going on I have no idea about, and a simple storyline to make the characters fun or at least entertaining to watch.

Also, while I'm glad they are not using that ridiculous song, why even bother with transformation sequence? It's even in the OP, which I will be skipping from here on out.

IMO, this feels like G-Witch season 2. The writers believed they could fit a 25 to 50 episode anime into a shorter length. I thought BONES learned their lesson from the disaster that was Eureka 7 AO. I guess not. Now they have to cut out all these ideas they love because they can't fit everything they want into one episode. I bet money someone in a position of power is upset their super sentai baby is being treated this way. Meanwhile, mystery guy and mystery girl writers are upset they can't bait the viewers with a story that refuses to explain itself. All they got was last episodes weirdness, but then even that was upstaged by a BONES quality fisticuff.

On the plus side, the music this ep was excellent, and the dog disguise was A1. Also two punches for the asshole was pretty funny. Why should a robot even care about getting married?

Every anime seems to have that classic swimsuit episode. This one was pretty short though. I have to admit, I absolutely loved their swimsuit choices, especially Naomi's.

You know, I can't help but feel like this series missed the mark a bit. It could have been so much better if they hadn't stuffed it full of info dumps and actually let the characters grow naturally.

An enjoyable episode for me, to be honest. I kinda wish all the episodes had this vibe, but it's still fine. I think having these two be more comedic yet still have serious stuff to do made for a really nice partner dynamic. We'll see if this was just the calm before the storm and all of that comes crashing from here.

Enjoy your anime! | Witch Cafe Wisteria

I must say, it's kind of impressive how they managed to make an anime this bad. We started this episode with no connection at all with the last one, I even thought I missed one ep. And we've seen 6 episodes so far and I still have no idea what this show is about, who the characters are, what are they doing or why are they doing it. I'm not even sure if we are watching at the good guys. I'm so lost at this point that I don't have the slightest idea of what are the consequences of the things that are happening or could happen. Like, if Rouge and Naomi lose, and the 9 immortals win.... then what? I have no idea. They haven't told us anything about the world around the characters. Literally 6 episodes and no progression at all. Even worst, 6 episodes and I still feel like the show hasn't even started.

I'm trying to like this so bad but I have to admit it sucks so far lmao. I thought I missed an episode and checked like 3 times to see if I did, the jump between episodes was done so bizarrely. The visual quality is as all over the place as the story is. No idea what the show's trying to do, no idea where it's going, no idea what's even happening. Imma tuff it out until it ends but man I'm so disappointed.

An ok episode, the comedy was quite good, the serious part didn't work because nothing got explained.
really disrupting the relationship of Naomi and Rouge in such a silly way.
Rouge should have known that she wasn't allowed to punch humans if that was the reason for arresting her.

With a dopplehanger situation you can never truly trust anyone and it seems like punching your way through was the way to go. Quick, questionable but quick. Speaking of lack of trust, what ever happened to Naomi in that last line? Did she realize something during that last fight or did the inspector caught her and convinced her of something?

More questions arise after every episode.

Was it just the dub that made it seem weird when they got out of the pool and Naomi turned her gun on the real Rouge and asked the math question again despite the impostor being obvious? It makes no sense why she'd do that.

With Rouge and Naomi done with their Mars expedition and set to return to Earth, several forces have been working in the background, like Ochrona agents within Aletheia. The most concerning is still the Puppetmaster who questions Rouge of her origins, as much as the issues of the Immortal Nine pounce up. And a murder within the ship, with Ash and his companion Nean Noid capturing the wrong person at the wrong time,

The killer reeling up doppelgangers, with the last donning Naomi's body, they know that it's Hell Glallon's game, but that they must work together, albeit separately to apprehend the killer on the loose. But even then, they apprehend their main culprit too late: Rob Acres, which is Hell Glallon in disguise. Rouge's way to identify by punching each and every one, including the dog, that was a rather roundabout way to find Glallon, one of the Immortal Nine.

Naomi turning her back on Rouge, is probably the biggest cliffhanger to date.

Swimming pool episode, yeah. Well i don't remember that twins an important character before. But with that disguise master its become very annoying now, time to defeat him. Unfortunately and then Rouge just casually letting him free for whatever reason of her create such a big what to me smh.

That Naomi mustn't Naomi. The mole the chief talking about? Before even reach the earth, Rouge already caught into such a trouble, not even manage to waste her hands well enough. Wonder when that android girl learn to holds still?

I have a soft spot for murder mysteries on a ship so this episode felt more engaging.
Thought there'd be a connection between the half-identical siblings and the doppelgangers in the CCTV footage.
Rogue is bad at math, that must be the real one.
