| Honestly the best arc that WSJ had pre-Chimera Ant, so I'm very excited to see what Liden will do with this. Absolutely hoping for a good casting as far as Anji is concerned, the moments with him and Sano are among my favorites of this arc. |

| Good that the announcement happened very soon, was bound to happen anyway. This is one of the best arcs I've read and watched that came from WSJ so it should be a fun watch and better than the first season. |

| Nakamura Yuuichi as Hiko Seijuurou, I am not happy with this choice of seiyu for Hiko, his old seiyu was so good Ikeda Shuuichi, atleast they should have kept this man for Hiko. A newbie for Misao, atleast other part of the new cast is good for the villains. But 1 thing for sure the soundtrack will be lackluster, LIDENFILMS need to bring back the old composer, without his masterpiece from the old anime, the new one will be lifeless, bcs the current one's job is lackluster. |

| I'm just hoping they address the issues with flatness, the soundtrack is #1 what they need to match up better, even if they need to hire someone more just for that. That can make/break shows, and this arc could have an intense score that really brings it out - easily. Artwork is solid. Animation hopefully can keep up with these fight scenes. Looking forward to the season, it should be good. Shishio is such a major event. |

| Like most people, I have my complaints about the remake. it did start to improve for me in the last few episodes (I also liked how they handled Aoshi's introduction, can't wait for him to return in the Kyoto arc), so I've got fairly high expectations here. Shishio is a great villain so I hope they do him justice, too. |
