This was an unexpected announcement to me. I read a couple of Yonezawa's works, most specifically the ones from the Kotenbu Series; but I didn't know about this one. It's always good to have something different in current and future seasons. I must say that I am hyping Shoushimin a lot.

The sites I found don't have it available from what I searched. It seems the novel wasn't even translated at least yet.

@babel0790 it might have some considering their relationship in the trailer, but it might be a school mystery mostly.

@babel0790 after reading 4 volumes of this i infer that it's mostly a school mystery laced with romance.
It gave me quite a shocker to what the development had grown into by volumes 3-4
But the romance plot was predictable enough to be somewhat enjoyable
The main highlight is the mystery tho

The Director is Kanbe Mamoru, who ruined the Promised Neverland S2 partially.

Additional info for those interested, I don't think the rules let me give a link or anything, but there is a fan translation out there if you are willing to dig a bit, and a pretty good quality one too.

Super hyped for this one though, it's absolutely fantastic! As long as they stick to the source it will be great, especially if they do a second season adapting the 3rd/4th books.

@JaysonNnN Not yet, no. I believe volume 6 might be in the works? You’ll have to fact check me on that one though.

I don't see any info on a volume 6, but a volume 5 yes.

@JaysonNnN Right, yeah. It’s a bit confusing because Volume 3 is split into two parts haha.

Producers ruined it, not the director. It wasn't his choice to rush the adaptation.
