Welp, we got the marriage already. It's kinda funny how Haruto and Hime together are not used to being a couple yet. That's not even their main problem either since the Abyss King is after him.

Between Haruto and Hime, it also seem neither are experienced in the field of romance yikes. But the other hand, at least the show isn't holding back time on getting the two together.

Look, I'm a sucker for harem stories, no doubt, but honestly, I feel like this one would hit differently if the two main characters were just committed to each other.

Satou, who married Hime and became the legendary Ring King to save Nokanatika from the threat of the Abyssal King. Satou and Hime, who suddenly became a couple from childhood friends, struggled to take their relationship to the next level due to embarrassment. However, they couldn't afford to enjoy their newlywed life, as the pursuers of the Abyssal King, who noticed the revival of the Ring King, closed in on Satou and his companions.

So, I'm thinking this anime is all about conquering challenges with the good ol' power of love, serving as the ultimate plot armor. Satou's got to lean on his wives to handle the ring's power, so if things get dicey, it might just work out. Initially, I had low expectations when they introduced the other princesses, but surprisingly, it's holding my interest. And guess what? They actually got together and became a legit couple?!

I was fully prepared for the usual tsundere stuff, but this unexpected turn has me pumped to keep watching.

Oh hey, we got a confession already, nice.
Satou seems to be loyal to Hime fortunately, so that's good. But this is a harem anime, so eh, it can definitely go in a different direction. I'm personally looking forward to the one further to the right in the ED.

Certainly warming up to the characters, personalities & intrigues are there, and the story isn’t cut and dry.

Satou got balls, but wasn’t prepared to use it full potential.

okay so they haven't gone all the way yet, but at least they agreed on staying a real couple. overall Satou and Hime behave more mature than your typical harem protagonist/s. The newly introduced elf chick is another story though...

More world building and the first ring king stuff which were fine. Satou and Krystal didn't go all the way ofc but atleast they made their feelings clear and kissed. Other romances take forever just to do that. The next princess is here. She's an elf but quite an unique one at that. Good luck getting her.

Story while not something special or anything is still engaging for me. I'm looking forward to the harem he'll build based on the ed, dark skinned waifu and that blue haired chick have a nice design.
Glad they cleared up that he really loves her and not as a friend like last time, so we don't have to see them act like they actually don't love each other.

Ecchi wise this was pretty tame, few panty shots but I was hoping on something spicier.

Well, they admitted their feelings for each other way sooner than I imagined, it was a really cute scene!
I like the sense of humor in this series: the gramps in particular has a lot of funny lines, and the new princess seems hilarious.
Also like the design of the elves city.
Next week looks fun!

A kiss and confession in the first two episodes is exactly why I love this series. No long drawn out BS, both leads just being straight up about how they feel.

Consummating their marriage is another thing entirely πŸ˜‚ still a ways to go for Hime and Satou on that front. At least they know how the other feels so we can be patient with that.

Episode did a good job of showing just how strong the abyss king’s knights are and how much stronger Satou has to get to stand a chance. Heavy Lord of The Rings vibes with needing the various rings to power up.

The coolest thing about this story is that Satou isn’t OP or really strong on his own, his connection with hime and the other princesses is imperative to surviving in this world and getting stronger, can’t wait to see that play out in the anime. There’s a ton of world building to this world and it’s surprisingly detailed, I hope they’ll be able to translate that to the screen. Like what I’m seeing so far.

Alabaster was great today. Gramps is hilarious. Satou mispronouncing his and everyone else’s name was actually very realistic. If you got thrown into another world it’s no way you’re just latching onto all these extremely foreign names that easily lol.

Episode was a little weak production wise during the action scenes, lot of speed lines, other than that no complaints.

Best girl elf waifu is here let’s gooo

Wow, this went full retard fast. Glory-hole-mouth protagonist is too dumb to even be careful of a giant bear... which then gets blown away with a cute sound effect. This show is so painfully stupid, the main character so painfully pathetic. Nudity can't save this show, let alone panty shots.

For the sake of the person he loves, Satou is willing to go to another world.

After officially becoming Krystal's husband, unfortunately it wasn't enough for Satou.

Four other girls will be waiting for us in the future. Let's see.

Looks like Satou is unfortunately too weak to take on some of the stronger monsters with one ring, so this means he pretty much has to amass a harem to save this world, if you ask me saving the world seems secondary lol. And of course Hime wasn’t happy about this, but I did really like the scene where she and Satou overcame the situation, and I also liked the almost sexy time but it’s probably good that Satou held off for now since it wouldn’t be right at a time like this.

And it looks like the first ring they’re going for is the Wind Ring which belongs to the elves, which means we’re getting an elf waifu which is always great, there seems to be a lot of them this season lol, and what little we’ve seen of her so far she’s definitely not what I expected, so I’m looking forward to seeing how they deal with her in the next one. And lastly, I’m happy to see I’m not the only one enjoying Alabaster, he’s certainly a goofy lad and I enjoy the amount of screaming he does along with Satou lol, it’s moments like that I really hear Megane from Urusei Yatsura.

With a series like this I can get why people dislike the isekai genre.
No tomo malas decisiones, solo me gusta apoyar causas perdidas.
Disfruté Mayoiga, Ou-sama Game, Evil or Live, Mirai Nikki, Big Order, Arifureta, Ex-Arm, Tesla Note, Shuumatsu no Harem y Platinum End
nope les falle con esa, lo siento pero todos tenemos nuestros límites.
Así de jodido es mi gusto en anime, ¡Y estoy pinche orgulloso de ello!

Another anime where everything EXCEPT the mc is good. This is what happens what you demonize physical intimacy. You have one mc after another in their late teens early 20’s who’d literally rather die than touch a member of the opposite sex. I’ve never lived in Japan, nor do I have any current friends or family with large exposure to the culture but if the anime and manga I consume hold any truth relationships are completely the opposite with the females being the aggressors when it comes to love. The high pitched squealing of our mc in this episode were like fingernails on a chalkboard. Its just hard to understand how you come love someone, desire them, want to be close to them, but touch them? Oh hell no! I’m not even talking about them sleeping together. They both profess their feelings then satou acts like a 12 year old. Maybe it’s just me but it kills all the momentum of the story. I love you but please stay 7 to 10 feet away for the rest of our lives.. .. good grief 🀦🏻‍♂️

you know the strongest plot armour is a isekai harem protagonist plot armour like no isekai harem protagonist has died unless they were dead from the start
anyway the ed showed us the five girls one is human one is elif one is beast one is demon?
cant figure out the fifth one in the right hand corner though

I think the show is not bad. Right now I have 2 main grips.

1) If you see someone injured and think "this is my fault," that's fine, but don't make the moment about you and fixing your feelings rather than addressing their injuries.

2) Jealous in harems has really, Really been done a lot. While there will always be a place for it, in a story where GENERATIONS of royalty have understood there would be a needed time of polygamy, is NOT it. like seriously, we see so many royalty stories with the royals struggling with the weight of their role with the understanding that their privileges come with restrictions others don't appreciate. "Do I take my people to war?" "Do I marry for politics?" "Do I kill me treacherous family member for the sake of the kingdom?"

We could at least act like they're trying to put the world over their feelings rather than have the "I'm your REAL wife lines." No, you're all struggling to support the same end, the survival of your world, let's notale itore difficult than it needs to be.

I appreciate the stories that just lets people be friends from the start. It gives a sense of, "we don't have to do the jealousy thing just because it's a common trope for the story type."

Having the prophecy say the hero neeeeds to have a harem is always a plus in my books. But It seems to be a trend that the women are willing to get it on but the man wants to progress slowly. The blue-balling could drive one crazy....seeing all those princesses at the beginning of the ED:

At the very least, kisses are doable. I mean, this is worth something, right?

I can't skip the ED sequence. Aside from featuring a nice art style and eye candy goodness of the 5 girls, that song Kokorononaka by Alia (sang by Ayame) really kind of hits the spot (she also sang the OP, made by Sizuk but the ED is kind of in another level)

Well it was okay I guess. The animation was really poor during some scenes and the story is kind of a ripoff the lord of the rings: a battle between light and dark with rings that grant power and an old evil that is slowly regaining power... They just added an harem twist to it where instead of destroying the one ring, MC has to marry all ring princesses xD

Not a bad show, not too heavy with unnecessary ecchi stuff, pretty well balanced. Protag’s fear of intimacy is ridiculous, but at least he doesn’t get physically sick like a certain long eared princess πŸ˜‚ The only thing I don’t like is the creepy eye thing in the ED, except for Black Hanekawa. I think the potential for some good comedy is still alive, looking forward to next week.

this shit feels way too rushed, also whats the point of their 10 year bond if he's just gonna wife up 4 more girls since they arent gonna introduce more girls unless they're both gonna fall for each other. the villains feel so shit, basic ass looking demon gargoyles and that one knight like bruh who tf cares about them, sage should be op enough to handle them. Not a fan of the animation during the fights too, def could've used more work there

This is like the one time where the harem protag not going 0 to 100 kinda makes sense. On one hand he's bold enough to announce himself as the ring king to the other side bitches, but still wants to actually date his main (best) girl first.

Dude wasn't surprised when someone let him know he'd have to fight monsters and sort, but he had his jaw dropped on the floor when he learned he would have to indulge in polygamy going forward. Wow.

EP 2

Last time we left off on a cliffhanger aaand this time?

Well then im sure nothing could possibly go wrong
I was wondering if they were gonna cut the episode there but apparently not
Well this princess is a bit curious. though. a lot can happen in one ep

Another cliffhanger this time. So much to say and yet. Well the second girl has shown up already, and there's still three more girls as well. Curious
In the op we do see one(?) of the girls wielding a sword, so I'm assuming not all of them are just going to be sitting around

That original Ring King, created five rings, then defeated and sealed evil, after that he married five wives and gave them his rings. So, why does Haruto now has to deal with five wives, and their love will buff his rings, if original Ring King just put on rings and was buffed by his relationship between him and his right hand?

Satou as the Ring King, already facing a Knight of the Abyss King, that is enough for sage Alabaster to ascertain that it is too difficult for them to defeat now given his small power, leaving the 2nd prince of the Gisaras Empire's Marmarugias to save them out of trouble. All Satou needs is to find 4 other princesses...and marry them to borrow their power to defeat the Abyss King.

Alabaster going through the entire backstory of the Abyss and the 5 elemental Rings which set bonds, evil has risen once again, and the Ring King must do his duty once again to seal the Abyss King. Despite that, Marse is glad to avoid being the Ring King due to the pressure, which Satou confides by staying true to his love for Hime, which she can finally drop the act and act as his real bride.

The problem is...the mood after that, which becoming husband and wife, it's definite that they go with the flow, and Satou wants to take this slowly, which helps to strengthen the bond betweem both which gives power. And their first destination: Romca to find the Ring of Wind...and elves also. But the place had changed since 50 years ago, of a tempest wind wall blocking their entrance. And taking refuge from a bear to find the way to Romca, they need to proceed with caution with the advice from fellow elven people. Meeting the elf princess, she's a rather shy one of a shut-in princess.

How to convince princesses to be brides this way?

Just a whole lot of fun with some much needed ecchi moments. Reminds me of the good old days in a way. Animation might not be the best, but the delicate art reminiscent of Saihate no Paladin makes up for it. Plus the idea of a 'Ring King' that has to marry 5 princesses is just some really cool power fantasy! Oh and we have a funny grandpa character and a male side character (the Prince) which is out of the ordinary for this kind of show. Very promising so far.
