| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| Really happy for Michiru and Miko. She finally got to see her face. I'd love to have her as part of the main characters. What's up with Romm and that ghost though. |

| Thus, Michiru's arc "ends", and this old ghost man's arc officially starts. Another incredible chapter with beautiful and epic development. After Yuria finds Michiru and Hana together in the storage room and reunites with Miko, Zen, and You, when Zen asks, Hana makes the excuse that they were cleaning, and Michiru notices Miko's crumpled picture of her and Hana as children on the ground and apologizes, reminscining about her past where her old friend called her a freak after being overbearing and accidentally injuring one when desperately trying to find her friend's mechanical pencil. As You says her goodbyes, and is about to leave with Michiru, Hana stops Michiru to take a new photo together. Instead of Hana taking it herself, You takes it for them, which surprises Hana, to which she gets dragged by Michiru when she's untrusting of You from previously hiding Michiru in a picture as her model manager. As the photo is being taken, Michiru finally has a sense of relief from friends she can trust that accept her, which retracts her tentacles into her stomach, and then shocks Miko after seeing the photo, even moreso when she can finally see Michiru's face up close in person, while also being astonished by her beauty alone. Meanwhile, You expresses her remaining anxiety to Zen whether Michiru will injure or get hurt herself again, but Zen reassures her that friends stick together no matter what, which is what makes their bonds even stronger. You mentions she's never had a friend, so Zen suggests it, and they become friends from it when she asks to be her first. Later on, Romm reunites with Miko and reveals to her what he learned about Michiru's monster. Showing a video from 2 years ago... it's a type of monster that resides in sacred trees (Note in Chapter 39, after the sacred boulder below a giant tree was cracked, that's when the monster left its nest and somehow chose Michiru). The "bad news" though is next. He shows her an envelope of an old photo of Michiru she showed him, which he states he can't look at anymore, and to make sure he doesn't. ... It's that old ghost man who's followed her since she was a child. That's what almost killed him. Not Michiru's monster, and if he looks at it again now that it's "caught on to him", Romm will likely die. Even more surprising is how that thing looks completely different to Romm. Not an unassuming middle aged man. With a mini scythe btw. ... I fucking love this series! Beautiful bond of friendship formed, along with a new epic threat that's been hinted previously. ... What a joy this arc was with Michiru. From Chapter 39-54. I adored it. Cool to know I was right in the fact that Michiru's monster is clearly its protecter like Romm stated, but we don't know how or why it was attracted to her out of everyone. If it's attracted to sacred trees. How was it attracted to a troubled misunderstood lonely desperate for attention young girl... |

| This was a rather sweet end, of what was, most probably the most unsettling arc thus far. Most of all Michiru became normal(?) once again. Good for Miko, she got the first actual glance of Michiru's face.. after all this time lol. By the way, they didn't waste any time setting things up for upcoming events.. I mean see that unassuming middle aged guy. |

" in japanese , syndrome = シンドローム = shindo-roumu . in his name , Shindou = 神童 = しんどう = child prodigy . page 24 : - romu : ... watashi ... , drink bar ... , member-sama ... page 28 : you can search images with google : princess mononoke + forest spirit + ghibli . page 30 : - miko : what a relief . now i dont need to worry about anything anymore . this michiru arc is finally over in this manga . - romu : well , too bad for you , a more dangerous arc has started already , lol . - miko : come on , give me a break , the mangaka . last page : - miko : ... oji-san ... |

| What a wholesome ending. Yay finally Mieruko can see Michiru's face, after all this time! :P. Hopefully the teacher and Michiru's sis become good friends, after all they do have in common their love for cats ;D. Romm will die if he see's that old man in the picture again what? Also he said ''is that how IT look to you?'' now I'm wondering what it looks like to him.. |
