| While Hayato and Gakuto rest at home waiting for both Minato and Mikoto, continuing on Uta's date, Minato has no idea about what dating is, and even Nikaido doesn't know how to express it, and what the former finds on the internet, he doesnt't want to engage with Uta, though shoving it to the brocon of Mikoto would not suffice. Basically, Minato has a change of heart ever since he saw Uta dating someone else, and even for said girl, she's feeling mixed emotions herself as well. And as much as both Mikoto and Nikaido want to help Minato build the secret base fort, the difference in feelings is quite substantial. Having to change for the person, as in Uta's case, that might've been too much for Minato about what it means to grow up. Basically put, the relationship has separated the both of them apart, and even Uta's mother also sensed the difference in her own daughter, though that's nonsensical if love is on her mind. But that's not what Uta exhibited as she did the opposite, being down in spirits, and it only took for Minato to ask her about her boyfriend, which she broke down that Morita's pushing his ideals onto her, forced into stereotypes that doesn't make her who she really is. In retrospect, Uta need not change herself, and Minato basically allowed her to be this way, ending up in her breaking up with Morita and helping them build the secret base. A rather adult-ish episode, for the better. |

| This is close to being a 10/10 for me, it just keeps on getting better and better. The life topics it covers are simple, though presented and executed so very well. You can definitely have friendships between a Man and a Women, at least at my age (I have a handful myself). I probably thought differently when I was still at school. |

You can just see how free both of them are around each other and that’s beautiful. Fuck her now ex for trying to put her down and change who she is like that. I loved the use of real world images with the animation during the Minato crying scene. The staff on this one know how to make an impact with these emotional scenes. Uta’s smile at the end of the episode was also great. Really powerful. I really like how despite rather mundane events, the series is able to show us the beauty of every day life and adolescence. |

| great episode. i like the realism in this show. i wasn't expecting this anime to be so down to real life problems like family, relatioships and how to say it... stereotypical gender norms? go girl! she did good to broke with that boy. he wasn't worth her. |
| Minato said it perfectly and uta doesn't need to change, not even for a lame boyfriend. I do hope there is romance in the future but if they stay as best friend is cool too. |
| Minato & Uta are still kids, their friendship is more important than love... for now. Can't imagine those two being just friends in the future, tho. |

It makes sense because she is a massive tomboy. It would be weird if they didn’t touch on that at all, but the overall lesson being to be with someone who accepts you for you.

| I'm so glad they kept Uta and Minato's relationship pure and didn't force no romance bullshit on it. It's clear that Minato likes her as she is, so that could definitely turn onto something else in the future but for now, it's nice to see them on that childish friendship note. |
| Growing up and experiencing romance for the first time is a delicate subject. It's nice Uta and Minato didn't give in to random advice on how they should be and decided just to be themselves! Another story well executed! |
