To the manga readers, can the skipped content be added back in?

I know that Shadow House did a similar thing and added in important skipped content into S2 that was supposed to be in S1. Can Hanako-Kun do the same? And is the skipped content really important? Just want know before I pick either anime or manga for it

Oh damn. But now it's confusing why it was originally labeled as 再起動 - "restart; reboot". But oh well, a sequel is good too. I really hope they somehow include the skipped arcs, even as a long flashback or something. The spin-off getting new episodes is really cool too.

@Yuri_Niji yeah. The young exorcist arc would make a good reintroduction to the series. And the clock keepers arc is where the main plot really gets introduced, so it should work OK. Might make things slightly awkward with the arc that comes after the mirror arc being pushed back even further, but hey they already did that by putting the mermaids return as tye season finale, and it's not like kou will stop thinking about mitsuba anyway, making the lead in still work, plus the content of clock keepers adds nore overall angst

What was the point of calling it a restart to just name it season 2 at a later date? Unless plans changed recently, it doesn't make sense

And the skipped content is REALLY important for the story, there is a character evolution that is really important for the next acts!
I won't spoil you but I'll just say the way this anime is going It's WILD, but very good too!

First season was really poorly made so I think that reboot was a better idea because I dont see any reason why a new commer will want to continue it

@Yuri_Niji It's not SUPER important. It shouldn't be too hard to work around the timeline and add the necessary scenes they left out back in. The anime ends where the story just begins to take off.

They completely botched season 1, sucks this isn't getting the proper reboot it deserves. The only thing S1 did right was the art style, otherwise the pacing and what they chose to adapt was an injustice to the manga :/
