| Bit of a ramble. It's one of the best Josei in the anime sphere in general. Granted Josei hardly get adapted but it is entirely unique in it's style, flow, and visuals. The manga is also finished if you want to just get to the ending if you like it. There's no confirmation if the series will ever get more seasons but it's teasing that Madhouse and Asaka-san are always highly talking about the series up unto this year. So hopefully.... |

| It's very good. But if you are not interested in this karuta game, then you'll find 1/3 of the series boring, because it is basically a sports anime and it is mostly about it. |

| I'm 17 episodes in and I would definitely recommend. Well-written characters, good art style, great OP. It's not essential that you understand how to play karuta but it would help I would think.... |

| I watched more than 1000 anime and this is my n°1. It does hit all my sweet spots (sports + game + drama + traditional Japanese arts + shoujo/josei anime style) so these are just my 2 cents, then everyone's taste is different. |

| The only thing I’d “warn” about is that it’s very dialogue heavy. But if you like slow burn love triangles and like the art style you will definitely enjoy this!! |
| Definitely it's worth of checking up. I highly recommend it. Very solid anime with likeable character, good visuals and audio, and with interesting premise (karuta). |

| The whole series is fantastic! It gets even better with each season. Loved the character development and different angles and perspectives they used to draw the anime. |

| love triangle is really dragged, but other than that it's worth it, I haven't seen the 3rd season though. |
| It took me by surprise. Bit slow at first but it picks up and the atmosphere has you on the edge of your seat, although it can be frustrating (especially the characters). The music was good and if you like it then luckily you have 3 seasons to keep you busy. |

Do you by any chance know where to start reading after what has been adapted so far? i really wanna know how it ends and as you said waiting for the anime could probably take a while
