| It's kinda amazing how far Max has come in this show although a character with his charisma is no surprise. About time they concluded that conflict between Fred and Leo though. Maou took on her human form one last time because why not. I think this finale was just a goofy way for the anime to end without any dramatic climax. Kinda fitting for this type of anime. |

| A celebration of sorts to celebrate Max's birthday, Maou sure fills Max's stomach to the brim of jiggly fattiness, though he thanks her for being his salvation. Zenia requesting for help to fix her computer, which she has been scouraging data from the Magic Bureau, has been infected by a virus which stole data, she's a goofball. Thankfully now, both the Kingdom and the Gamma Republic are in a peace treaty thanks to Max, though a memory card that was given to Fred by his secretary, shows the goofiness of Max filming for his YouTube channel, and that spirit in the closet still scares him to death. Obviously, the higher-ups at the Bureau of Magic don't appreciate how the Gamma Province was created, but some do thanks to Max, and they're still at loggerheads, but while Fred still has to answer for his shortcomings on other things...that's if it's based on the context that Minister Grimms was the one behind it all, which apparently, was Zenia's work that was the devil in the details through leaked information shared onto the Internet, which proved that he was the rat in the midst. In a sense, Grimms's deal to make a man out of Fred since his past was weighing him down, that part failed, and it was a farce in the dark that some knew, and the others don't. That leaves Fred with Grimms's seat, whom he is more than qualified to take his position. Sure enough, Max is a hero in the real world, smothered by the media from his now famous apology video, and other Yuria being a mother, the days of Maou, Zenia and Max in that one room apartment, will be much more fruitful than before, other than the departure of the hero party after the deed is done. Quite the underappreciated show of the season, revering in heart. A good show, all things considered. |

| Man I'm going to miss this show Max and Maou held a celebration for the victorious hero alone. Max's apology touched many people and was beginning to affect the relationship between the kingdom and the republic. Everything seemed to be falling into place... or so it appeared. However, within the kingdom, a new conspiracy seemed to be starting to unfold. Evidently, the higher-ups at the Bureau of Magic fail to recognize Max's role in transforming the war into peace. However, there are some who do acknowledge his efforts, leading to a contentious divide. Despite this, Fred still needs to address his own shortcomings. This hinges on the context that Grimms orchestrated the entire affair, an endeavor apparently masterminded by Zenia, who intricately manipulated information leaked onto the Internet, exposing him as the traitor in their midst. In a way, Grimms succeeded in his pact to help Fred shed the weight of his past, a clandestine achievement known to only a few, while remaining concealed from the rest. This leaves Fred well-prepared to assume Grimms's position in a future second season maybe. Undoubtedly, Max emerges as a real-world hero, inundated by media attention. Meanwhile, Yuria embraces her role as a mother. The days of Maou, Zenia, and Max sharing that cramped apartment promise to be far more fruitful than before, notwithstanding the departure of the hero party once their mission is accomplished. Maou assumes her human form one last time, a poignant gesture. It seems this finale opted for a lighthearted conclusion, pretty fitting for a show like this. I'll miss it for sure. |

| Everything was resolved peacefully. Glad to see Max and everyone doing well. We got to see Yuria together with her family. Would have been nice if they had a little reunion, maybe someday in the future. Also it was Zenia who leaked the info on that guy right? Lolz. Btw poor Fred can't catch a break, that ghost won't just leave him alone. Good to see Maou, Max and Zenia together at the end there. Pretty good anime, enjoyed watching it. The story was better than I expected and there were some nice ecchi. Liked the conclusion to the season but would still like to see more of them so hopefully s2 someday. |

| 😩 man I’m gonna miss this show. Started off a little slow but I really grew to like it and it became a big part of my Mondays. Hilarious character interactions, interesting characters and a cool post fantasy modern world that we don’t see a lot in anime. Actually one of the more unique series in the past couple years. Glad everyone got a happy and peaceful ending. Grimms arrogant ass got exactly what he deserved. Thought he could outsmart and belittle everyone and Zenia had something planned for his ass 😂. I think the only thing I’d like to have seen from this ending is a reunion of Max’s group. Especially after seeing Yuria in the park there! The big fight from episode 11 hits harder when you see how close they were in that last scene today. Frieren next season will follow up on this, but it’s a really sad feeling leaving behind people you’ve been thru life and death experiences with. Your whole life has been dedicated to a singular goal and once it’s over, now what? We also didn’t really get any explanation about the ghost in Max’s room which was disappointing. She’s obviously Sadako inspired so that scene of her scaring Fred thru the camera was awesome. Don’t normally read manga but I’ll probably read this one because I need more of these loveable idiots |

| Funny show with interesting characters and an actually good story. Wouldn't mind a second season at all. One point deduction for the unnecessary underboob and swimsuit censorship. |
| Not gonna lie, the two assets that kept me watching this show was the mildy amusing comedic skits and Zenia's fanservice shots. I think the rest of the cast were just okay, nothing truly memorable but also nothing on the negative side. I know I'm being too critical and this is a comedy show mostly, but it does really bug me that the republic and the kingdom were all just good buddies a few days later after a single apologizing video from Max the hero. Also wished there would had been more hints on who's the ghost lady in the closet, I'm not asking for her full story, just give us a little bite. At least this is the 3rd character voiced by Oozora Naomi that I trully liked (Satanya and Chiyo-chan were the other two). Other characters like Uzaki, Yahi and Kiriha were pretty grating on their personality and her bratty voice didn't help me at all into liking them. On a similar note, Matsuoka's roles as a harem protag does annoy me too, but when he does antagonists or deuteragonists he's quite a joy to listen to. In a barren season, I certainly believe this show was a 5.5/10 in my books, on any other season with big hitters this would probably have been a pass. |
| This was a fun easy watch. Wish the demon lord was in his original form more often, but whatever. Uzaki's VA doing the demon lord was a great gig. Fun enough show even if it wasn't anything special. 6/10 |

| Comfy fun watch. The amusing cast was definitely the strongest aspect and I will miss them. Oozora Naomi was also a big contributor to what made the show click with me. Most of her characters have an irresistible charme. 7/10 |

| A full epilogue to the fight, having most of the same fun interactions that majority of the show had. Season ended on a conclusive note too. |

| Yeahh I still never cared about the whole Kingdom plot, I like it when it's Max and Demon King in the room getting into antics the most. It's when this show is at its strongest. Still, I liked it overall. 7/10 |
| This was a pretty good series that provided entertainment. The ending was amicable with war prevented and the Grimms guy arrested for embezzlement. Grimms did indirectly admit to at least knowing about the explosion but it seems like the cabinet people didn't care about that. I was surprised that Fred got offered Grimms' old spot but it was never made certain if he took that position or not. I was curious about the ghost lady and I didn't like how there was no additional info about her. Was she Max's relative? Did she die in that room? Why does she hate Fred so much? She also wanted Maou and Zenia gone too. Beyond the unanswered questions I still felt the ending was good with some closure but it was left open. I liked the character designs and animation, and it felt like an 80s or 90s anime, especially with the flashbacks. There was a good mix of action and comedy although I understand the fanservice was toned down from the manga. I would watch a sequel if it is ever made. 7/10 |
| Good characters, unexpected good plot, sexy girls, comedy on point, good art and animation. This anime really was a good surprise. 8/10. Anego was added to my permanent waifu's list. |

| Kind of an odd ending, but not bad I suppose... Fred really got a break finally with that Grimms guy getting arrested for embezzlement. More funny stuff with Max's terrible Youtube PooCube videos... I still didn't get the whole thing with that ghost. We FINALLY got to see Yuria, but I don't get why she's with that other dude and not with Max (who she obviously likes).. there's some other story about their relationship that this anime made no attempt to tell, and that is the one big disappointment of the whole thing. It was funny and entertaining, and little demon lord guy Maou is adorable and hilarious, and the chemistry between all of them is great- but it felt like there's a loose end that it left with more questions than answers. I don't know how to rate it yet. |

| This show was a lot more enjoyable than I initially thought it was going to be. It just kept getting funnier and more endearing now and then and I even started liking some of the character designs even though I kind of hate the art style. |

| This was one of the most underrated animes of the season. I mean the story wasn't interesting at first, but it got better after watching each episode as more characters were introduced. I also found it funny how the setting goes back and forth from modern to medieval fantasy. Max was very relatable for me as an MC dealing with personal adult problems that occur from living alone and being an out of shape hero that has no real place in a modern/peaceful society until a demon loli and her sexy assistant shows up at his doorstep. The anime also had a good soundtrack and I like the OP done by MADKID and the ED too. It's too bad there is not enough material for another season with the anime already covering four out of the six volumes of the manga, but I can understand why another season wouldn't be necessary with everything ending on a high note as the story begins to focus more on the main characters and their personal arcs along with Max's personal growth with the Level 1 Demon Lord. I'm glad I picked up this show otherwise I would have missed out on another hidden gem. Overall it was a very fun series. 7/10 |

| There was no way this wasn't going to feel like a bit of a letdown after the emotional and action-packed epic episode 11. Still, it was fun little epilogue with sort of a greatest hits highlight reel of the show: Max & Maou hanging out/bickering, more PooCube content, the ghost harassing Fred, etc. The politics eating so much time up was annoying but the council at least has some GOAT voice actors and now that Fred's on it and is bitter towards Max (while knowing Maou is the real deal) it could set up some exciting stuff down the line. Overall I really enjoyed this show; I was excited to watch it every Monday and now what the hell am I supposed to do? From the moment the reincarnated Maou flew around with that great music by RON and then had the absolutely hilarious reunion with Max I was hooked. The humor for the show was right up my alley and I laughed my ass off quite a bit. Max and the Maou played off each other well with a strong chemistry and excellent voice acting. Beyond being funny it had a surprisingly strong heart and as it expanded out from just those two to the rest of the party it was still great and never felt like it was getting sidetracked. I rarely read manga but I'm going to check this one out to find out what's next for Max (and if nothing else learn who the goddamn ghost lady is!) 8/10 |
| This was my favorite show of the season of the new shows that aired. I loved the characters and I was surprised that it fleshed out the world more than I expected. Hopefully when there’s enough source material to adapt another season they’ll do it. A true definition of a hidden gem imo. |

| This series was a gem. A story about a demon lord building up and living with the hero who slayed them is quite a concept, which this story delivered! I loved the characters and the gags, and I hope for a season 2. |
