| When Jine pointed out Kenshin was talking normally I had a mic drop moment as although subtle I hadnt noticed he had lost his yoda speech. I got a squeepig feeling. Alas by the end it turns out just like Jine self hypnotised himself to unleash his own full potential, kenshin is also mentally suppressing his dark side by talking like yoda. I kinda get it now, even if reading yoda style subtitles is unamusing. I like dark side Kenshin subs! |

| Best episode of this remake so far. Smooth animation for the fighting scenes, and a little bit of extra tension deliveried by the soundtrack. Finally the studio did some proper good job! I hope for a better animation quality and better direction on the following episodes |

| Rip for Jine. He fights well against the legend like Kenshin. Wish him to stay longer especially since Sugita, the funny man, was the one behind him. But the hellish defeat from Kenshin lightning sword sheath forced him to do no more then ended his own lifes. Interesting to know there's people behind his action, so that's mean its obvious that Kenshin peaceful life in idle with cute Kaoru won't that be so peaceful. All in all, i like this episode aftermath, and looking forward to see more of this.... |

| Without a doubt the best episode so far. The tension was crazy and fight was just great. This also showed what Kenshin is capable of if he gets pushed to the edge. To think that we're only at episode 6 gets my hopes even higher for what's to come. |

| Fight was very solid and I liked showing the difference in Kenshin from his usual Rurouni self we have seen to this stark dark presence in Battosai. Outcome was predictable. But good episode overall. |

| While I agree with Jine, that Kenshin will always be a Hitokiri, he can also live his own life. Kinda like how you can take a wolf out of the woods, but you cant take the beast out of the wolf. You can only hope to keep it content. With enough pressure, he can and will revert back to his Hitokiri ways, just as was proven in this episode. |

Edit : The main point of the whole story is : Will Kenshin be able to truly become a (happy) dog , or will he stay a wolf all his life , only becoming a dog in a superficial appearance. |

So yeah , if you are not fan of that , you will have some difficulties here. However , the small Arcs of those villains will be longer from now on , during 3 or 4 episodes. Originally , the Manga was supposed to be just that , but with its small fanbase , the Author got to do 2 long Arcs after it. It's those Arcs that made Rurouni Kenshin a classic series , so if you can , i invite you to endure it. The first long Arc will most probably start getting adapted at the end of this Season , possibly Episode 18. |

| yesssss, most definitely!! and the fact that they are animating the manga in its entirety, and scenes like Kenshin tearing the letter, and especially Jin-e's final speech just wow, that was the best. Nobuhiro thought of everything since the beginning, so this was extremely important. Also, I can't wait when Enishi's saga is finally animated after so many years, wow. |

| The epitome of "be careful what you wish for". He got beat by Kenshin real good in the end, although admittedly he did put up much more of a fight than anybody else in the show before. It's a sign of his strength, however twisted he was in the process. I'll give Kaoru that she was able to undo his paralyzing ability, the power of (mayhaps love) is real here. She doesn't die with a mess by suffocation , woo. Feel like with the way they bring up love in this episode there will come a day where she confesses to Kenshin. Maybe there is a path to find love and hone the sword, because I don't see her giving up the dojo on the way to love. Regardless, she protected Kenshin's spirit that day so kudos to that. |

| For a while, I was disappointed by the lack of visual effects when Kenshin entered Battousai mode, but the way he glared daggers right before delivering the finishing blow gave me goosebumps. Kaoru breaking the paralysis is such a great moment. It demonstrates how her strength is her immense willpower. In general, this version is making me respect her even more as it's been polishing her finest moments along the way. |

| Damn so some higher ups were telling Jinne who to kill, he wasn't choosing his victims, interesting, and at least Kaoru stopped Kenshin at the last moment, he didn't kill someone again even though Jinne died by himself |
