 An anime adaptation for the Hana-Doll* 2.5D idol project was announced at the Behind The Frame- Anthos* stage event on Monday. The anime will premiere under the title Hana-Doll*: Reinterpretation of Flowering and cover the drama CD's first season Flowering. Movic launched the idol franchise in 2019, which includes multiple drama CDs, music, and stage play. Shounen Magazine Edge began serializing a manga titled Hana-Doll*: Flowering - Boys were still in a dream by illustrator Ikuhiro Nao in November 2020. Kodansha published the first volume in December 2021. Introduction Amagiri Production's new project "Hana-Doll*" aims to create the ideal idol. Anthos is a participant in that endeavor. Each Anthos member has a unique seed implanted. Their goal is to grow and allow a flower to bloom within them. The members trade their lives for the "flower." I've only listened to the first drama CD (Season 1 spans 5 CDs), so I don't know much about the story itself. Mainly I follow the songs. Will give the anime a try for Masuda, TokiShun, and Yamashita Seiichirou. If we managed to get a bit of screentime for Tosshi's group, that'd be great too! They didn't really appear until Season 2 though. |
| I'm a bit lost as to what a thinking reed is, so, no, I don't think I am. The premise is a little interesting though, I might make a note of the title to see if their songs are any good. |

I did not realize the drastic change in Norn too :( :O hope all the groups show up/ they combine the stories well!!! even if just for a cameo for Tosshi!!. |
