| Social media really took this modern age by storm. Even in this show, they promote their content for sales. Not that I blame him though, it's a clever strategy to promote the cafe now that it's actuallly a business. Hayato has a workaholic-like mentality imo although I guess he just wants to live up to expectations. Akane has quite the singing voice though. Hope to see her perform more on stage this season. And lol..the girls still love to use their fists and legs to punish Hayato. |

| Oh about time we get some sob stories, I mean about how and why these girls ended up at this cafe. Though trust me Riho’s case isn’t as dreadfully dark as they wanted us to feel from that slight glimpse we got. But hey it matters not, as now she got a new family and mister dependable on her side. Surprise not if she reveals she has already fallen for dude. Sure that scene with girls thinking about Akane’s band being some secret smash and pass hangout spot and Ami herself thinking something completely out of the box felt familiar, but let’s leave it be, as for what came a moment later was even more hilarious, when Hayato caught Akane leaving her concert and thus knowing about her secret band in the process. Though she wasn’t very glad about this idea, but her intentions did change after that typical “encouragement from protag” speech. Girls aren’t upfront about their feelings, I mean of course we at fifth episode but look at Akane, boldly declaring she has no problems marrying to the dude, albeit jokingly. BEST GIRL. |

| Nice to see the cafe busy once more. Nice to see their promotion at the festival paying off. Ami really is a glutton huh. Though she's good at social media relations Riho really is pushing herself too hard. Akane's performance really was good. Still its nice to see Akane get some expansion. Overall a pretty calm ep that featured some nice expansion on Akane and Riho while also hinting at the feelings that each of the girls have for him. Though so far Giku's the only one that seems to see him differently. |

| The part with Riho was sweet, Hayato was real smooth there. Akane's performance was great. It was nice to see her reaction when Hayato showed up. She looked cute blushing. Also what was she joking about I wonder. |

| Akane never ceases to amaze me and she continues to be best girl. Her performance was amazing and it was nice seeing her all embarrassed about sharing it with the rest of the girls. It was really cute and ended up being a nice little secret between Akane and Hayato. |

| With the café back on its heels, everyone worked hard, though there's more work needed to be done. Riho, in charge of social media, wants to repay his grandmother to the maximum, though Hayato just wants her to work as she should and paid. Seeing that she's been labelled useless for all her life until she stepped into the café, even if Hayato slightly manage to beckon his grandmother's feel to hee, at least it puts her on ease. That said, it's the day off for everyone, and Akane chooses to focus on her band's activities while Hayato gets a new toaster for the café, and thereafter, wants to go watch a movie, but ends up checking out her band, which he definitely has some criticisms for her. And despite the claims that her own band isn't doing as good, Hayato saw otherwise and value within Akane, which she is glad and thankful for him. The other girls got their rest time too, though thanks to Hayato, Akane is slowly opening up her interests to the others. And even if the girls can't make it to the 1-year deadline of making the cafe work, the deal of making him a married man, it's not all surprising for Akane to go for it, while maintaining a poker face. Oh well, there goes a peaceful day. |

| Akane best girl. Her performance was really well done too. The studio clearly put a lot of time in effort into it which I appreciate. The riho scenes at the beginning were cute too. Nice seeing Hayato gradually get closer to all the girls and learn about what makes them tick. |

"bathtub shitter" is my personal favourite. yes it's real, look it up.. just type in "bathtub shitter japanese band" and not just the name cause.. I have no idea what will come up if you don't 😂 |

| So they can still make a decent episode if they try... almost feels like it was done by completely different director/studio even. And they can do that even without blantant fanservice. Those chapter splits from manga were probably way too obvious though. Riho part was probably the best, with Akane's concert not being the best animated but it still did the job. I actually liked their interactions this time, MC really acts like a chad (almost to the point of being oblivious of their charms). Well, I wouldn't mind if all episodes were at least like this. |

| Ami is just the worst. Four girls would have been just enough. Actually, get rid off Shiragiku too. But we've got a couple of touching moments with Akane and also Riho. I like those two. Akane is in first place, tho. Getting major Ichika vibes from her, so I see where the Quintuples comparison comes from. The moment where she cautiously and secretly asked which his favourite song of the album is was just adorable. |

| Riho moments are so sweet ahah, but Akane's part was great as always, Hayato saw her performing live with her band and he even bought the CD, some good development is coming... she wasn't joking when she said she wouldn't mind marrying him, for sure xD |

| Good episode, we're getting to know each girl's background more and their different personalities. Riho is more committed to the restaurant than I thought she would be and it looks like she may have been abandoned or something in her past. Meanwhile, Akane's band performance reminded me of Bocchi the Rock. I'm not sure if Akane was joking when she said she'd marry Hayato but it was funny to see the other girls freak out although Ami did say that she wouldn't mind being with him. Kind of sucks Ami hit him when he got home but the consolation prize had my mind racing. Anyways, looking forward to the next episode. |
| I already liked Riho and Akane but it was nice to get some bits to develop them even further, Riho had an interesting situation going on due to how Hayato’s grandma “saved” her but Hayato smoothly comforted her which was nice to see, it’s pretty early in the show and we already got girls crying in his arms lol, it was sweet tho. And it was awesome seeing a nice chunk of a song being performed by Akane and her band, that was a rocking song, it’s a shame they aren’t a jam band but I’m definitely a fan of them, Akane shredded it. And it was fun seeing her flustered for once since Hayato saw her performance, and he was an absolute lad once again here when he talked with Akane on the train. I’m not sure if I’m on the best girl Akane train yet but she’s definitely up there. And lastly I loved Ami’s bit at the end lol, she had a handful of funny moments in this one throughout too like the battery saver mode scene, i definitely appreciate her consistency in making me laugh. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

Like watching a Persona MC rush through a couple of social link events. "Today I shall become closer to girl number 5" kind of stuff with no build up. |
| Just came here to say I’m still #TeamRiho. Objectively speaking, she’s very suited to be Hayato’s partner wether it be for business or for life. Her genuine passion to act for the betterment of the cafe aligns perfectly with him. Their chemistry also goes pretty well. Hayato displays adaptability when she goes on emotional tantrums. On the other hand, Riho doesn’t mince words when it comes to making him realize his own shortcomings and he reflects on it earnestly. I know this is a harem show and it’s pointless to argue who the best girl is since this genre for all of us to get our fair share of enjoyment. I’m simply laying my 2cents. I’m definitely not trying to make people jump ships. lol Quick edit: 5 EPs in, I still can’t skip the OP. So catchy! |
