The anime did cut almost half of the manga content and the webcomic goes a bit beyond that ending as well so I wonder what they will adapt in this.

It’s going to animate what the first season missed out. I’m guessing they are doing this so that they can animate a Season 2.

I am actually in the process of reading/rewatching horimiya and damn, there was a *lot* of cut content so they could adapt the important parts. I know a lot of it was filler, but I love it nonetheless

If this adapts the cut content I would be overjoyed

Ah my bad, I thought the manga was still ongoing. They really cut out a lot of content from the manga for the anime to end the same as the manga

...but why? yeah, it has some immaturity; but the second part of the show is brilliant.
i think that they found their style in regards of 'horimiya' already, and nothing disastrous will happen

it was so fast paced... they didn't adapt the manga faithfully :(
alot of thing were cut down from the main story and they end up making a one cour show which was really a bad idea.
u should also read it's manga instead of waiting to see this.

definitely the sports festival and the kyoto trip as there the sort of main parts that were left out of the anime, and then probably some of the shorter chapters after that

But that’s literally why they’re making this… they’re literally animating the parts that they skipped so what can you possibly complain about…

I just finished watching episode 1 of Horimiya: The Missing Pieces. I forgot most of the chapters that were not adapted from the manga, and find myself laughing out loud with the first episode of those unadapted chapters that didn't make it to Season 1. Glad to have this series getting some additional animated scenes even if the chronology is a whack.
