| Man, I really like the character bonding of this episode/series. The training camp really helped with everyone learn about themselves and each other. In terms of technical standards, it feels like the archery posture and positioning is just as important as the focus. Glad to see this show continously give character growth outside of the usual practice and competitions. |

| The linking really comes together here, one might even say it culminates? Depending on what else is in store- all the shots at the nationals or something else. Masaki being such a non-intrusive - not even teacher but rather a bona fide mentor that he can't stop doing his thing even when it's not "his kids" is really a joy to watch here. Kinda staying in the background while enabling youth to bloom. ... Yeah, very traditional/idealised, I guess, but it's so beautifully done I'm finding it hard not to love everything about it. |
| This training camp was great for bonding, inside the group, and outside the group with Tsujimine. Nikaido revealed his reasons for his anger to Minato and Masa, and it's better once it's all out there. Quite sad to see his uncle deteriorate in health, I hope there's no further sadness there. I love Masa's character, because he never stops being a mentor, no matter who he's talking to. Questions around why people take Kyudo so seriously can be applied to any sport. What do people get out of pursuing a sports career/hobby? It's great seeing all the psychology behind all that. Something about this season, it just feels so much better than what Season 1 offered, and at this point, without a doubt one of my favourites of this season. |

| Oh man, Rika rejecting the Nikaido-guy was so frustrating :( At least could have thrown him a bow like "but once the tournament s over ..." or something. Despite her tomboyish getup, she's easily the hottest of the girls ;> |

| Poor Kenyuu got rejected by Rika, which was to be expected, as she wants to dedicate her time with kyudo with friends that she fully trusts. Putting aside that love rejection, this episode was pretty tense at times as it focused even more on Nikaido. It was in the baths that he and Masa had another talk about kyudo. Even though Masa gave a good explanation about his forms over the years as well as giving out good wisdom, Nikaido didn't look too pleased. Getting stuck in a lift with Minato, then getting a message about his uncle's health getting worse would be tough on anyone to handle and to keep one's emotions in check, but thankfully, his uncle's health did stabilize, which Nikaido was very relieved to hear as he openly cried. Overall, this training camp trip was worth it for the Kazemai Kyudo club. The boys might've lost their mock match against Tsujimine's team again, but you can see that even in defeat, they've improved as a team and are only more eager to keep on improving their skills with the nationals around the corner. Here's hoping that Kazemai can do their very best at the tournament! =) |
| This was certainly the episode with most drama this season had yet. Was that some kind of reference of Heike Monogatari which was the first series directed by Naoko Yamada? Looks very neet imo. The hospital scene was a turning point for our new rival it seems. Every scene with Masaki and Eisuke talking to each other looks so Blue and stellar lol |

| I definitely feel for Eisuke. His uncle was really a father figure to him because deadbeat dad and all that. And now to him it feels like he's gonna die without "fulfilling" himself with his Kyudo. He's really on a vengeance mission for his uncle. |
| Poor Nikaido having this mental state and the stress of being stuck in the elevator and directly receiving this news about his uncle at the hospital :S At least it was better than expected fortunately |

| I swear the fall is going to cause problem Nikaido, please, I wish Minato’s sensei could explain to him the reasoning behind her rejection Damn, Seo didn’t even think about it 😭 they still make a good couple, though. |
