| The machine lifeforms in this show are truly fascinating. 2b and 9S are also on a mission sent by their superiors and felt like I was watching the game being played out with the exploration elements. We also got some glorius Nier style combat too but in animated form. I swear, this show has one of the best soundtracks of the season. They used the iconic battle OST for the opera stage fight! |

| It is back after almost a month, though don’t trust Aniplex if they’ll stop their delay-riddled joke of a production anytime soon. Reporting back to the resistance leader Lily about the happenings of the desert zone. Since they knew all along for what purpose YoRHa androids came there, it shouldn’t come as a surprise they still been getting the cold shoulder from the resistance members even after successfully eradicating the anomalies on their past mission. Though not like it matters to 2B or 9S, as they’re already onto a new task. To investigate the things there in the amusement park. They didn’t waste much time introducing us to the main boss, the Opera singer of the amusement park, like they did it in a flash, back in the last episode. That was some good battle back in the earlier parts of the game, liked the execution here as well, with those flashbacks through 9S’s hacking. And yes look what’s happening to him. |

| The aliens take the acting really serious. Some might say, too serious. The Simone fight was just incredible. The Bunker people puppets are cute. |

| Glad to see this back after the corvid issues. Makes sense that they would be able to recreate water given that earth is supposed to be near dead in res. Ah yes the theme park. Nice to see it get animated. Still they really did a great job animated the fight against the stage queen while adding new elements in. Curious how they would handle Pascal and her village though. |

| Nier is back, and it's looks fine, the amusement park boss fight was amusing, and the ending was intriguing, with 9S killing those machines. Still not convinced we won't see delays in the future though, with this rushed production schedule. |

| 14 ADs this week but glad it did not melt https://twitter.com/Nakayasee/status/1626509375178256386 but im worried about future episodes if they keep adding more ADs so inconsistent drawings will definitely show up but if they delay some more episodes then AD melt might be prevented and if its 2 cour then i guess they will announce a split cour to give more time for consistent drawings or AD work to happen |
| Dawg I’m telling y’all, I’m taking A-1 staff with time and budget against any other studio for action scenes. Ufo my ass.The whole fight scene was pure art. You can really feel the 86 staff’s impact here. I was a little surprised they skipped straight to the amusement park today, no roller coaster ride or any of the build up that made that level so eerie and interesting, but I assume they wanna get to the later stuff and with the delays, I’ll cut some slack. |

| The machines are developing human emotions that was really fascinating to watch. Nice how 2b are is helping 9s and make also a hack to save him. I looking forward to see how this show continues. |

| After many weeks of delay, NieR is finally back! And the wait was worth it... I think? I wasn't expecting them to do the Opera singer fight scene in one episode. A rollercoaster scene would've been nice but what I really missed was the Romeo-Juliet scene that took place in the Amusement park IIRC. 9S' hacking scene was great. Jackass is a bigger ass in the anime, isn't she? |

| Even if we have to wait upon delays, if the end results that we get are like THIS, then so be it Only minor complaint is that I wish we had spent a little more time exploring the amusement park; because we all know in the game, it takes quite a bit of time going through the park until you get to the boss battle. But hey, if it's so that they can give more time to the actual boss battle and make it THIS spectacular, then again, so B it. The thing I love most about this fight is that once 2B lands her first strike, it just doesn't stop until 2B's pod lasers the core. Maybe for a brief couple seconds, sure, but there is no absurdly long pause in the battle where 2B and 9S spend like 30 seconds discussing a strategy or something. Just straight gas. I'd say it was quite rewarding for what was it, a 4-week delay? |

| Episode that concludes with the famous first boss battle. Added some original scenes but the show very faithful to the game. I’m looking forward to the next episodes presumably we will meet an important character. |

| After a several-weeks long delay, Nier has returned and wastes no time plunging us back into the action. The CGI during that boss battle was rough but the fight was still great to watch. And damn I counted like 10 2B panty shots just in this episode alone 💀 I won't complain though 😏 |

| I like how they mix different routes to show the same battle from different angles. That battle with the diva is quite memorable, and, by the second route, quite tragic as well. |

| I really love how they're doing the adaptation in terms of adding content that wasn't in the game. The hacking sequence was waaay better than how it was represented in the game, and shows that the team really does have a lot of creativity in how they expand on the source marerial. The animation still needs a bit of work to be great though. The 3D in this episode was exponentially better than the previous ones, but the 2D still feels kinda rough. It has at least reached the level that should be expected of a low or mid-budget isekai in its talk scenes though. |
| That fight entrance was as dramatic if not more than the game!!! Brilliantly done. The ending feels weird, felt like 9S was more chaotic here than in the game. Legit felt bad when he killed the mother and daughter at the end. |

Why did they made 9s so unsympathetic and racist in the anime?His attitude isn't like this in the game, he is more kinder, WTH. And the 3d CGI quality could be better, there is a YouTube channel named 'dillongoo' he makes better anime 3d animation than this and he doesn't even have a big team like A1. At least try to make 3d animation like him or better |

| Good to see it finally back, Interesting how 9S reacted at the end here especially differing from the game and previous scenes/episodes, but I presume this it supposed to be intentional. Glad they reminded me all the annoying mechanics of this boss had. |

| WHAT AN EPISODE this is exactly what the show needed. They surprisingly nailed the fight sequence, the CGI fit in perfect with the action, and everything that was awesome about this part of the game is done justice. And uuugh the way they finished that I was NOT prepared for. The anime original content of this is really proving to be exceptional. this show is turning out AWESOME |

| I'm glad that Nier Automata has finally returned on air, although considering that some other shows this season have been effected the same way, I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the last delay that this series gets. I sure hope that I'm wrong here, but who knows at this point. Anyways, the episode itself was solid. A good chunk of the amusement park itself was cut out, although a lot of it would be mainly exploration towards the boss itself, so It's not a bad thing that it was cut out. The boss fight itself was pretty intense. The CGI animation is getting better with the way the boss went out of control and the traditional animation for 2B and 9S with their action scenes are very good, too. The hacking dive that 9S did was also well done and kept the tension of the fight going strong until 2B helped out and finished the boss in style. =) I will say that the way 9S ruthlessly killed off the machine lifeforms that appeared after the boss was killed did give me a little sympathy for them, with the same going to the boss as well. |

| That was a pretty impressive episode. That battle scene really was well done. I had my good headphones on and the sound, animation and choreography just had me absolutely floored. Top notch stuff, well worth the long wait. And damn, 2B has cake for miles. I don't know how canon that is but im not complaining. |

| It really has been a month huh. 2B and 9S regroup with the others at the resistance camp base after that fight from the last episode. They discuss what events unfolded with the resistance leader Lily. 2B and 9S then head of to their next mission which is at an amusement park and that boss fight looked really good. Creepy at some points but it also made me feel slightly emotional for the robots. Especially after the boss fight with that mother and daughter robot where 9S just sliced them brutally, I actually felt sad a little. Was it worth the month wait? well I guess, but waiting a month for any anime delay is a bit much. Hopefully we don't see anymore for this anime because I'm actually enjoying this anime! |

| Amazing episode. Simone was one of my favorite stories from the game. Also, its pretty much confirmed that we're getting at this point. Can't hold my excitement enough T___T |
