| Jumping straight into the plot instead of spending half of the runtime following the "enemy of the week" format doesn't mean that it's rushed. It isn't inherently better or worse than the old formula, it all depends on the execution. I only watched the old Trigun anime, I didn't read the manga, so I can't say much else. Orange always makes 1 cour anime, so I don't expect more than that either. |

| It might feel rushed if you have in mind either the old anime or manga, but if you think about it as if you knew nothing about Trigun, then it might not look that much rushed. In fact, it doesn't look any different to many other action-centered animes in terms of pacing. But to each their own. |

| I agree, this is undeniably very fast pace story-wise saying "it's different, I prefer it" is not enough to debunk that fact. It's that far away different from original anime (pace and characters building) that it's understable to not like it, you can't dump eveything on "muh old guy don't like changes". I do like it though. Until now, still prefer the original, but we'll see how it goes ;) I believe they swapped the mystery building on Knives/Vash/Gung-ho-guns (and plants?) to those two (new?) Knives friends we are introcuded to progressively. Probably they thought "heck everyone knows the story so let's develop a new part of it". Note that we got the exact oposite from the original anime ; OG anime ran 26 with less manga background, and now we got 12 episodes with more background :D Would have preffered a meet-in-the-middle with a two cours anime, but oh well. |

| I continue watching just to laugh at how bad this shit is gonna trainwreck at the end, just like the shit netflix made with Cowboy Bebop... ...and because i hate this show I continue watching so I can compare with the OG and tell people how bad and stupid is to take classics from their graves just to do another wokeist remake no one asked for. |

Yeah, I did notice that the pacing is rushed in places, but I could excuse it somewhat because I thought that was this anime wanting to get things established right-off-the-bat so that they could be built upon... And now I'm seeing that there's only going to be 12 episodes. I'm a bit shocked to be honest. I assumed that "Trigun Stampede" would be at least twice the length. This anime is rough enough as it is, having more room to at least do something would've done it some good, but looks like they do not have that time and I only imagine things will get messier from here on out (more so than it already is). |

| i mean, im not surprised since its 12 episodes - but, not having finished trigun maximum... is it even this short that it can fit into 12 episodes? since the original manga was like 18 chapters they can fit it but what about maximum? idk, its looking like a trainweck for now being so fast. im still riding it to see how bad it can get tho lolol im only watching for wolfwood anyway. |

For comparison; Trigun + Maximum is roughly as long as Fullmetal Alchemist. FMA Brotherhood skipped some stuff & it still took 64 episodes to adapt the manga. maybe most of the chapters are fights? idek tbh but its shaping to be even worse than i thought |

| Is it rushed? Didn't feel like it to me. I mean it has its issues sure, but I don't think pacing's one of them. Also apparently a 2nd season has been confirmed, who would have thought. |
