| This anime is good for it's time, and for as old as the animation looks, I love the characters, especially Lin, she's so cute. It's very epic in a weird sorta way, def gonna watch more...Urahara Out!! |

| I'm definitely getting a huge Mad Max vibe from this anime and some of the finishing moves are so brutal but they look a bit comical sometimes |

| It says a lot about the food situation when that guards first reaction to the mouse was that it looked "good to eat". I wonder if Lynn will meet up with Ken and Bart. |

| Why is Lynn so desperate to follow Kenshiro? The people of the village seem to be pretty nice to her, as the opening scene of this episode demonstrates. If they were mean to her (and Bart said they were though nothing we see seems to agree to this) it would make sense since she would be seeking out the only person who'd been kind to her since her family's murder. It would also make the setting even bleaker; even though the villagers wouldn't be murderers and thieves like the men Kenshiro killed, they'd still have hard, ungentle hearts. "Bleak" is what this series is going for, isn't it? |

| Ken is not just a badass but also a man with a big heart. Feels nice to see. Meanwhile, Bat is surprisingly competent but has a scummy attitude. Hope he learns a thing or two from Ken. Holy shit. That 7 second countdown was wild. |
| Looks like few reviews for this episode over a decade.. Possibly cuz not many people finished the first episode. Ken is actually pretty good at taking care of desert bullies, he doesn't pull any punches. He's got a keen mindset of eradicating evil, Lmao like a hero of justice for a world that's already at its birk of extinction. He should probably prioritize surviving himself. Still def gon' watch more o' this sauce. |
