Did he seriously just turn those priceless paintings into a goddamned sail?

It's kind of hard to root for Lupin when he does shit like this.

Otherwise a good episode.

Pretty interesting scheme. Also good to see some Goemon action.

Not one of the best episodes (looks like everyone feels that way) but it did come together nicely with the final switcheroo. Though, hoisting that sail and undermining his own subterfuge really made me facepalm!

WTF. Why didn't you use real bullets back in the fourth episode, Zenigata?

I love episodes that end like this because it really shows just how much Lupin and the rest are mostly in it for the fun of it. If they really cared about money they would have stolen the money that was about to be spent on the art, and if they cared about the art they wouldn't have made a sail out of it. They pretty much gained nothing of material value from this adventure, but they enjoyed the whole process and got to rub their victory in everyone's faces. Great episode!

Another Lupin with his gang episode. I find it amusing that scene how lupin and Jigen was moving with camera and video during that chasing scene XD. Nice to see finally Goeman into action and first time he disguise as something lol.

Wait where's the people in the same ship with the contestants?
Well they probably on the small island

I'd choose those beauties over the paintings any day
But you'll lose money instead xD

"I'll get you next week"
The foreshadowing xD

Another great episode with the four of them working together. I love that they disguised themselves as a TV crew, and that Goemon could go wild in a worldwide live broadcast. Their heist was a resounding success too. I mean, using the paintings as a sail was wild and silly, but they had the last laugh. xD

They have palm trees in Japan? Or were they just trying to make it look like California (which I've heard doesn't have native palm trees either, they were transplanted there to get that look).

Yes, they have. Especially in Okinawa, I guess

LUPIN, NO! PAINTINGS RUINED!
This episode felt a bit confusing to me, I'll rewatch it someday.
Goemon going haywire in that transmission was crazy.

Disguising as a TV crew was clever and funny to watch. And the whole Lupin and team turned into detectives was a nice twist.

First time that the character of Lupin goes against himself, in the sense that he takes the side of justice, unmasking a fraud attempt, even if in the end his good heart has a personal advantage as a thief, heheheheh !!! Funny episode again this time, in which there is also a reasoning component in what the viewer witnesses during the narration.

I couldn't help but laugh when Goemon chose the most ridiculous possible means of entry and distraction. I thought it'd be something subtle, not dropping in dead-center by plane and slashing his way through the path of most resistance. A bit cruel, Lupin putting the women in the wardrobe boxes, but... he's a groovy guy! Thoroughly enjoyable episode, yet again. Looks like the rest of the episodes of this series are gonna all be great.
