Wow, the protagonist is becoming more and more useless/trash over the time, incredible. Kisara leaves because she is mad? No problem the best way to get her back is saying over a mail that he needs her to do the laundry, buy food and coock for him while he is so busy sitting on a chair for hours LOL. He is poor? No problem there's always enough money to buy what? 50-100€ on tabbaco? I dont know anymore, the show would be much better if the protagist didnt have that shit personality. Also what the fuck is the plot twist? They call a plot twist saying oh she was my ex at the end of an episode? Because i think thats the only plot we have been gettting in this anime since it started. Can we start progressing in the story instead of going around into side stories? Sigh I guess people who like this type of plot will enjoy the anime but for me its hard to watch at this poiint

This is just the set up it seems. The show is two cours long.

Please god I hope not.

Ayano acts like a housewife around Shu now lol. Kinda feel bad that Kisara is being left out in this love triangle and she seems to be in a worse mood than usual.

On the other hand, the blonde nun girl Sharon makes an appearance. Definitely someone to watch out for and she seems to have a somewhat clever personality.

because kisara is still mad at what happened between ayano and Shu and add to the fire ayano told her she get in between Shu and kisara I fell so sad for kisara all she is a tool and nothing more everyone see's her as a demon and a tool that so sad and heartbreaking

After the last episode, I thought they couldn't live up to the expectations of the next episodes. But I was so wrong. This just keeps getting better and better. With the blond nun finally making her appearance, I'm curious if Shu will have seggs with her too

This show has kind of taken a nosedive for me since episode 1. Sure, the past few episodes were pretty good, but everything seems to be glossed over. It also doesn't help that the main character once again was written to lose every single fight and interaction they get into, with the exception of the occasional power here and there. I'm still gonna finish this (hopefully), but if it doesn't improve from here, it'll be a hard journey.

Also, sharon is incredibly hot

yea man true then add her backstory how she probably was targeted for a long time by the church ultimately getting sealed away in that cave for eternity. All she wants is affection and getting desired by someone, pretty stupid how there are still people hating on her only cause of her being yandere (which she is even a soft version) and how she is destroying shu. She even feels bad about what he is doing to himself and saved her rival multiple times already

Action, Romance, Comedy, this show does not disappoint in any department.

But for me it's the intrigue that glues the show together and I like how each reveal adds to that.

Kisara is still recovering from the emotional damage dealt to her in episode 5. Meanwhile, Ayano does not miss the chance to take over the role as Shu's secret girlfriend, which I assume that Shu must have been surprised by her sudden 180 degree change in attitude since he does not remember anything. This also means that he is unable to figure out why his pink hair partner who usually showers him with truckloads of affection has ghosted him.

A new badass character is introduced, and apparently she had a sexual relationship with Shu 3 years ago and was involved with Shu's first meeting with Kisara. We are finally going to uncover Kisara's backstory with Shu.

I don't think the show will go this route, but it'd be interesting if Kisara is more malicious than has been shown and has taken memories that would intentionally break down Shu and make him dependent on her. She's really pulled his teeth taking away his church and corporation contacts. Hell, maybe he even used to know how to do laundry.

Also everyone's talking about the nun service, but I want to draw attention to this person in the "common masses".

Very high chance, he have already lost many memories of his relationship with Ayano, so it wouldn't be strange if she had stolen more convenient without his choice (like in episode 5)

I wouldn't say she's "evil", but she's clearly destroying the protagonist little by little by enabling his revenge

Episode was just okay. My opionion is greatly impacted however on Im sick of the church being portrayed as the bad guys in anime and I want a wholesome nun for once. So the fact the nun turned out to be a bitch soured my mood.

Well, you’re a fan of the enemy series Lycoris Recoil, so obviously this wouldn’t appeal to you.
Jokes aside, although I feel bad for Shu to some extent, I just wished he wouldn’t be so useless. Why couldn’t he be strong on his own. This is why I wished these sort of anime portrayed stronger male protagonists, like a male Chisato but better.

Do we have any official confirmation for that? I would _love_ it to be two seasons, but so far, I haven't found any official reference for that.

Just one quick comment on the quality of the show: I was reasonably entertained at the beginning, but recently, I would have loved to IMMEDIATELY watch the next episode at the end of the current one. Which is the best sign of a good show for me.

No, just leaks, but the author said- "We're still in the common route. Things will get worse."

Shit, worse, just how?

Honestly, I am beginning to really feel sorry for Kisara. As expected, this episode started the Kisara backstory and indicated that the contract was initiated by Shuu (just before she was literally backstabbed by Sharon and shot in the back by Shuu – though the lattter likely was rather to prevent Kisara from killing Sharon). For a moment, I even thought that they might have switched the order around (Sharon/Shuu impaling her first, and then Shuu returning to contract her afterwards), but they didn’t – first, Kisara was impaled from the front, and then afterwards from the back. Life’s tough for a demon. I wonder how the backstory transitions from Sharon/Shuu approaching Kisara to Shuu completing the contract with Kisara without Sharon knowing. We’ll find out next ep, I guess…

About the identity of “the source”: Based on the characters introduced so far, and assuming that it won’t be a completely new one (which would still be possible), there’s three options:

1) Ayano’s mom (Yuugiri Akeno)
2) The mayor’s aide (Hachisuka Linhua)
3) The annoying blonde playboy (Hachisuka Mikhail)

It’s definitely neither the young inspector (Mikami Tetsuya) nor our coloured guy (Morgan Miles), since they were shown surveying the scene. Personally, I think 2) or 3) are more likely.

If I was in Kisara’s shoes, I would probably shishkebob everyone in this show. She was contracted on the initiative of someone else and was forced to save her contractor and her love rival multiple times already without even a smidgen of genuine appreciation from her _or_ Shuu at the same time. And I'm saying that as someone who really likes Ayano, as well.

I'd bet 1 thing for sure, source is a female; now, I think is one of the 2 girls with Mayor, 1 is his daughter if I'm not wrong, oh, and probably another ex of Shuu

Admit it would be interesting but there is absolutely no sign of her going that path, sure she is kinda monopolizing shu but apart from having to fulfill their contract namely giving shu power when he demands in exchange for memories her actions are pure and good-hearted. Like feeling sorry for taking his memories about ayano, not being ok with how shu is willing to sacrifice so much, still caring for her rivals' safety etc. Like, a true yandere would have long get rid of any rivals and isolating the MC and kisara would have all the abilities to do that, like she could have taken shu's memories of his family's murder all along already to make him forget his revenge drive and make him completely submissive to her. Tho that's not an impossible thing to not happen if I think about it cause if something happens in future episodes which make him go crazy I totally see kisara taking matters in her own hands and releasing him from the source of his self sacrificial motivations in order to save his life

Pretty much what I was getting at, yeah. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy seeing badass female characters, but I'm getting tired of having male main characters that can't do anything except for run and wait, and when they do fight they get their asses handed to them. That's kind of why I don't like Lucofer and the Biscuit Hammer this season, and why sometimes harem shows like Omamori Himari get stale pretty fast.

However, I do like stories like Re:Zero where the main charcater realizes they are weak, but they manage to continue to overcome it and still get stuff done.

Tbh, I'm thinking it might be to balance the criticisms from people who don't like the typical OP male protag. It just sucks that most get written either extremely weak, or extremely strong without an explanation.

And this super-evil girl is now sitting under a bridge completely depressed while letting her rival roam free? Does this make any sense to you whatsoever?

Sorry, but for me, this whole line of thought pushed by Team Ayano watchers is silly. Kisara is no conniving evil mastermind trying to turn Shuu into a helpless puppet to further her own nefarious plans. She didn't make a move on Shuu, Shuu made a move on her. Look at what we saw. "You are what I want!" is what broke through to her. The way she is clinging on to Shuu feels desperate rather than evil to me - it matters to her that she is what Shuu wants. Other than what _real_ Yanderes would do, she is continuously saving her rival's life instead of trying to kill her. After eating the memories of her lover NTRing her with her rival (what a lovely meal that must have been), she intervenes and saves Ayano YET AGAIN while bawling her eyes out over it. And then she ends up depressed under a bridge, realizing that it makes no sense staying mad at Shuu, since he can't even remember why.

Nah. This is no evil mastermind. This is a fragile young girl who desperately wants to be needed, but who isn't even genuinely appreciated. If there is any character who is consistently exploited and backstabbed (literally), it is Kisara.

I do like female characters, but I won’t deny that I tend to prefer series with male mcs. My issue is exactly the same as yours tho, there are far too many bland male mcs nowadays. Heck, even when the mc is male, many times it’s the female lead that’s more interesting. Or even if the male mc is interesting, the anime itself isn’t adapted as well as it should be (Tomodachi Game, COTE). Idk if it’s just bad luck or if writers suck with male characters, but it’s getting annoying.

Nun saying " you took me to cloud nine" might be misleading because we know he was dating Ayano before he went and found Kisara. MC really is scum in every way, he has always been a trashy character and I don't know what Ayano sees in him. She really should give him to Kisara and be done with.
I don't even get why Kisara is upset about what happened between Ayano and Shuu seeing as she's the one standing between them. She is the one who came second and sort of kicked Ayano out. It doesn't matter though.

I'm with you about Kisara not being evil or manipulative. I honestly don't hate her but at the same time I don't agree with her reaction on the kiss. She's kissed Shuu in front of Ayano too and we didn't get that reaction from her. Also, she has to know how he feels about Ayano seeing as he left her to fulfill his mission of finding his sister and he still likes her very much. Ayano also feels the same way about Shuu so what does that make Kisara but a third wheel here who the MC -- bastard that he is-- uses for his own purpose. I don't accept her anger or sadness about this.just because you want to be needed doesn't make it right for you to disregard the feelings of other people. Ayano like Shuu just as much as she does. And let's face it. Is Shuu really Shuu without his memories?

She's not evil, but she is clearly trying to take control of the protagonist's life, it's probably already been around three years since his contract with her, so she might have already eaten more than half of his memory by now, yes he's giving her his memories by his own choice, but we know by looking at Episode 5 that she can take whatever she wants to take, and there might have been other times where she took his memories without his choice
She's not a mastermind either tho, I do agree with that

Right, Ayano instead seduced Shuu behind Kisara's back with the "this is the last time" ploy, and then reneged on it when the opportunity arose. That's better in your book than kissing the guy you're living in a relationship with in front of others? Really?

Also, she has to know how he feels about Ayano seeing as he left her to fulfill his mission of finding his sister and he still likes her very much. Ayano also feels the same way about Shuu so what does that make Kisara but a third wheel here who the MC -- bastard that he is-- uses for his own purpose.

I'd rather say that Ayano is the third wheel trying to break into a declared relationship. Unfortunately, Shuu indeed acts pretty terrible towards both girls.

I don't accept her anger or sadness about this.just because you want to be needed doesn't make it right for you to disregard the feelings of other people. Ayano like Shuu just as much as she does. And let's face it. Is Shuu really Shuu without his memories?

That's not really Kisara's fault, but Shuu's. And what do you mean you don't "accept" her anger or sadness? You certainly don't mean that she is faking it?

I mean, I like both girls and am in noone's camp. If anything, I usually tend to sympathize with the Ayano template more than the Kisara template, but I am seriously put off by the hostility shown towards Kisara, after _she_ is the used and backstabbed victim here.

I did literally say I don't think it's the case. It's definitely not motivated by any preference for Ayano. If anything it'd put me on team Kisara as I do love a full on yandere. It's what I would enjoy seeing happen. I would agree it's not consistent with the on screen characterization that Kisara's gotten. There are a few things that give me a little hope.

One, she is a demon. I know good demons and evil angels are all the rage, but hey, maybe just this once the being known for mayhem and destruction is actually a problem. It'd be more novel at this point to play it straight. Second, we just got a bit of backstory where Shuu's first meeting with Kisara did not go well at all. The cry of needing her doesn't balance well with the gunshot wound. It'd be a pretty reasonable thing to want revenge over. This episode we see Kisara's feelings about what Shuu did versus what he remembers he did warring. It wouldn't be impossible for her to want the Shuu she met to suffer but love and pine for the Shuu she's with. Third, Shuu sucks. Like I know we're used to useless harem protagonists, but he's pretty bad. The show already surprised us with the memory drain reveal explaining that. Is it really that much further a twist to make it purposeful? We don't have a clear timeline of how long this has been going on or how often Kisara feeds or how much, but I'd say it makes more sense in some ways if it was targeted given just how awful Shuu is versus the people surrounding and chasing him.

But that's just my preference. I'd be much less surprised if the show meanders along like this with hints of tragedy that don't actually take away from it being a silly harem action show until Kisara sacrifices herself to restore Shuu or something.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. With "pushed by Team Ayano watchers" I wanted to indicate that I don't really mean to address _you_ here :) ... but there are many others here and on other sites (e.g. YouTube) who are very explicit with Kisara enmity.

I think Shuu's shot in Kisara's back might have been to save Sharon from dying to feral Kisara. The backstory is clearly incomplete - we'll have to wait and see. Also, Kisara/Shuu paired up afterwards, so there will have been a kind of understanding and reconciliation. Looking forward to learning about it.

Also, for me, as powerful as she may be, Kisara is emotionally a fragile young girl, not a malicious evil monster. If anything, she allows herself to be openly exploited, and she clearly shows more consideration for Ayano's feelings (think about the Ramen meeting with her where she explained things to Ayano) than vice versa. I really like both girls, I feel emotionally invested in both girls, and I hope that there will be a proper resolution coming here. Knowing the author, I'm hopeful.

Okay, you need to stop now. Nuanced and sympathetic views of the characters in this show are not allowed ;-)

God I wish that was me

Awesome episode as always, Sharon is probably gonna be second best girl. Seeing the two best girls (she and ayano) go head to head was a joy.

Shu: “You’re… who are you again?” Lmaooo. Can’t wait to see how their backstory plays out
sharon is fucking hot. kinda feel bad for shuu tho, he forgot a lot of important 'things'.

Shuu does not remember anything so he has no idea why Kisara is ghosting him. Telling her that his laundry is piling up is bait for Kisara (albeit quite an insensitive one) because Kisara has always been super eager to help him out with household chores, and him being clueless about his situation, was just trying all means to get Kisara to reply.

Ayano takes advantage of the situation to clean Shuu's room meanwhile Kisara is in a down mood. New character who shows a little more of Kisara's backstory.
Overall 7/10 episode

I'm with you about Kisara not being evil or manipulative. I honestly don't hate her but at the same time I don't agree with her reaction on the kiss. She's kissed Shuu in front of Ayano too and we didn't get that reaction from her.

I'm sorry if I missed something but you keep saying declared relationship like Shuu and Kisara declared their love for each other and started dating. You do realize that the we are together is only one-sided, right? That's something only Kisara believes and because she's yandere, she goes to the extreme about it too by pushing her way into his house.

Shuu is useless and I can't find a single thing good about him because he uses Kisara's helpless need to his advantage and doesn't feel that way about her yet.
He feels that way about Ayano. He dated her even when it meant he'd get fired and Ayano feels the same about him(even though she really shouldn't) and she didn't exactly seduce him. I am sure at the time she thought she should give up but she changed her mind and Kisara was all too happy to delete those memories from Shuu's mind.
Anyway there's no need to shoot down every hate comment about Kisara because people are allowed to feel how they feel about her and you would just be wasting your type trying to explain how she's just a victim.

So wildcard theory for the informant, but does anyone else besides me think it might be the Bayron City delivery girl? The anime has already shown how sometimes background characters play an important role and with how fast their delivery is of goods.... would make sense it'd be how fast they'd be able to deliver intel.Or at the very least be contracted with some demon to enable them such speed. Not to mention I feel like when several events happen, she's always there on delivery or in the background. Coincidence? I'm not so sure.

Also hot damn, not only is Sharon super hot and a nun but freakishly strong too. Brawler nun type was something I didn't know I was into until now. Hope she'll play major parts going forward.
No I don't read manga. Why? Because according to MAL manga readers, all anime is either: too rushed, too slow, anime original, or a terrible adaption. I like to enjoy anime for what it is, anime.

I hope there is some explanation why Sharon is clearly overpowered as being just human. Same with the guy that got shot 28 (?) times and basically was fine.

In the flashback looked like Shu was just going after Kisara because Sharon showed up and he had to keep hiding his true intentions.

A kind of human only sect? That Sharon nun is sure suspicious but she's another ex of Shuu xD? And they both attacked Kisara when she was sealed to the blade back then, there are still a lot of mysteries to unfold

Yeah it is just tailored for the purpose of escapism. He is poor to be relatable but still have the numerous exes as much as the plot demands without problem. Oh, and he can get her gf back no problem without talking to her about what was her issues, 'just get the fuck back and do your job' mail was enough.

Might as well call this Marty Stu the anime.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

Another babe for Shu's harem... lol
This one has a nasty personality though but she ain't bad, but a badass.
What's more, she said she went to cloud nine with Shu 3 years ago... Seriously?!
I can see how perverted Shu really is to women. Scumbag!?

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
