Kubo published a pilot chapter in December 2000 prior to the manga's serialization. Weekly Shounen Jump debuted the series the following August. After a 15-year run, Kubo ended the manga in August 2016. Shueisha published the 74th and final volume in November that year. Bleach has a cumulative 130 million copies of its compiled volumes in print worldwide.

The first television anime by Pierrot began airing in Fall 2004 and ended with 366 episodes in Winter 2012, covering the first 54 volumes. The manga also received two Jump Festa specials in June 2005 and March 2006, and four anime films in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010 December.

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.
