After a lot of convincing from my friends here and a fair bit of deliberation of my own, I've finally published my first review on MAL. Please read it here.
I took the plunge and published my first anime review as well. Please read it here.

Each anime format has its own comparative rating scale, i.e., shows get to be compared with other shows, movies with other movies, etc. and they aren't to be cross-compared based on numeric values (similar or otherwise) I've happened to assign.
yo nino, it's been a while. college is still eating at me, even my weekends have scheduled classes. what free time i have is spent mostly on review or video games - i've completely fallen behind on reading and animanga, although i'm trying to get back at my pace again. and yourself, how have you been?
you were about to turn into a figment of my imagination -- almost. kidding, welcome back! you sure look like a welcoming sight.
The only problem is that it's on the other side of the city, so it takes me about 4 hours on a daily basis to commute, which I spend by reading or sleeping.
4 hours to get to work? or that includes the commute back home as well? jesus that must've been one great job for you to insist on such a stressful schedule. better take supplements man, your immune system's got to toughen up. at least you like the work environment. have you considered moving closer to your workplace eventually? and hey, what have you been reading recently?
Woah, that's p cool. Is it still going on?
it's done like 2-3 weeks ago, definitely a memorable experience. i've also published my research in a peer-review journal, so it's out there for public viewing already. sadly i just can't share the link, wouldn't want to disclose any personal information on here.
heyy, how are you doing? You probably don't remember who I am but I was lurking around and found your reviews, just wanna say great work! If you don't mind me asking, do you plan on doing any more of them in the future? The reviews on this site's been kinda dead so I'm curious.
that's great, how's it? have you adjusted to adulting? i'm quite busy myself, i joined a national competition where my college competes with other 26 schools. sorta like skills demonstration + quiz bee competition, but larger in scope. i've been training for 2 weeks now, it's really exhausting, but i admit it's a huge advantage as preparation for my licensure exam. i've also been working on the publication for my thesis. it's been approved, i just have to reformat based on the office i'll be submitting it to.
456 watchlist? you're stacked, and i see you've gone back to writing film reviews - loved The Seventh Seal and Good Morning. i'll look forward to have you back here, but for the meantime, happy watching nino.
As for the Ghibli film, I didn't care for it. Miyazaki's worst work imo.
that's a heavy statement. though Ghibli peaked way back 2013, so i'll humble any expectation.

I see, take your time, real life comes first. I'll look forward to it :)
