| The show is back and looking sharper than ever. Besides of our main cast, Takeda is also back. It looks like Musashi and Kanemaki still share a good relationship just like as usual. Seems this episode is setting up events for the upcoming episodes, or rest of the season. Also, I'm curious to see how Michiru and Musashi's relationship will develop this season. Not going ot lie but I think that ED theme song is cute. |

| The continuation of Orient into The Battle of Awaji Island arc, hopefully it has a better showing than the prologue in Winter. A decent OST this time, though a downgrade. The Kanemaki Band of Musashi, Kojiro and Tsugumi are back, and gathering at the Uesugi Band's Alliance as outsiders for the Awaji Island battle that is unusual from the rest with Naoe Kanetatsu as the band's secretary awaiting the VIP arrival of the Uesugi Lord...that turns out to be Takeda Naotora of the Takeda Band. Of course he hasn't forgotten about both Musashi and Kojiro, now being one of the 5 Great Generals, the 2nd strongest behind the Uesugi captain himself: Uesugi Tatsuomi, whom is summoned to help slay the Kishin of Awaji Island: the green serpent Yamata no Orochi, one of Four Blights of the Black Kishin, the First Oni of Hinomoto which laid devastation for 150 years. Finding Tatsuomi for answers to Kojiro's dad is tough, and that's even tougher for the Uesugi Band since they value family above everything else and not of keen towards outsiders. And Musashi leads the pack to find answers, starting with the unauthorized entrance onto the humongous Uesugi Castle, and unexpectedly finding Tatsuomi reflecting on his thoughts and resolution...to only get caught in the crossfire. The trio gets separated, and what awaits Musashi...is the Uesugi Alliance of Bushi on faction mode since this is the first meeting. The first order of business: asserting a leader, and it's between Amako Hisami of the weakest Amako Band and Shimazu Akikiro of the strongest Shimazu Band. Thankfully, Musashi isn't alone, as there's Michiru, and since the infighting is not at wit's end, this is Musashi's chance to test his swordmanship against the two already established Bushi leaders. A decent restart that'll see both Musashi and Michiru's relationship develop in this ferocious battle (as implied by the ED visuals)...gonna see what's the deal with that this season. |

| Great episode! We are back with Tsugumi, Musashi and Kojiro! The new OP is great! They aren't allowed to see Lord Uesugi as he is in battle. Takeda is on board the helicopter... He forgot Musashi! But he was just joking xD. Takeda Naotora is a rival to Uesugi himself as he is one of the five grest generals! The Uesugi lord wants help slaying the Kishin of Awaji... The Yamata No Orochi kishin is very powerful and a descendant of the black oni. Musashi was actually talking to Lord Uesugi! Seems he is angry he is an outsider... They get sent to the barracks and Musashi is seperated from the other two. Musashi's special survival skill, determining the hierarchy amongst a group of people! Seems Shimazu Akihiro is amongst the group and well known. Michiru is also here! But Looking forward to the next episode! |

| We got quite a bit of worldbuilding in this ep. We see that outsiders are not welcomed and family is more or less put first. Alongside that, we learn of the Black Kishin and how it spawned 4 major monstrosities and one of them, Orochi, will be one they have to battle. We see that the Blue haired dudes group is one of the top bands around and see this Lord dude to really despise outsiders. Music was fine but kinda not as great as first season. They do the typical stuff of MC not knowing someone important and having close ties to them but i like it regardless. |

| Hmm okay, well the island arc is somewhat going to be interesting especially that Uesugi guy that definitely looks threatening (judging by his reaction when he learned that Mushiro is an outsider lol) but now forced to join the battle preparation with the other groups fighting for a leader in this 1v1v1 battle I hope that he'll get to win just to see them surprised xD |

| The second half of Orient kicks off with Musashi and his band meets up with the Uesugi band, but unfortunately they were not allowed to meet with leader of the Uesugi house because he's preparing for war and does not take kind to outsiders. Fortunately the leader of the Takeda was there to vouch for them as allies of his band. Musashi tries to sneak into the Uesugi band's castle, but was caught by running into the leader of the Uesugi house. Turns out the the Uesugi band is preparing for war to hunt down the green Kishin which happens to be the offspring of the great black Kishin monster. Calling for all know big bushi bands to form under the Uesugi alliance while smaller and unknown bands are sent to the front lines which is where Musashi and his band are being drafted to. Musashi gets separated from his group and gets placed in another group of smaller bands who are deciding who should be squad leader. It came down to Amako Hisami and Shimazu Akikiro challenging each other to a reverse blade fight while Musashi jumps in to make a it three way fight. |

| Glad this one came back. When I started it, I honestly didn’t think it would so that last ep announcement was a surprise. Seems these Bushi are pretty tough but boy is everyone kind of a pain in the ass lol. Let my guy talk to the lord damn it! Kid just wants to learn about his pops haha. This whole ep I was wondering if we would get more info on who Kojiro’s dad is. I bet he’s related to the Uesugi, maybe a close relative or something but he’s definitely not some nobody. Well, once Musashi wins that fight he’ll be one step closer to properly talking to the lord. |

| Well this was enjoyable. Who tf is Michiru? Am I forgetting something? This is the first time I've seen her. Them letting Mushashi join the fight was too unatural. 5/5 enjoyment wise. |

Also, based on the new ed it seems like they will adapt the entire arc hopefully they don't skip over much in doing this because I think this arc is every good manga. Of course plor progressed. | I am really surprised the design of those vehicle got approved by the developer or publisher. It is so lacklustre, modern vehicles on a fantasy and seemingly Japan medieval era, and only added bunch of crystal to make it look "special". For Musashi, It is first time I saw someone holding a sword like this, although it is super weird but it is quite unique. |

| Musashi looked good in those clothes. He still reminds of Ichigo, he has that style and attitude outlined by Ichigo. The threeway battle seems promising, especially the guy with the legs. |
