It mostly lived up to mine. I mean I didn't expect it to be Post-apocalyptic. I expected a male and female, not two females. Lastly I wasn't a fan of Fine's hair style.
Regardless I liked it more than "Spy x Family". Despite being primarily a TV series watcher, I'm relieved I watched it, especially after the bad aftertaste left by "Spy x Family", I needed this, to cleanse my palate.

This being an original story without much info before release, I didn't have any particular expectations in that regard, neither positive nor negative. I only expected it to look great given the people working on it and it definitely met those expectations.

While I do think the writing and the story were kinda sloppy, and I can't say it was particularly great, it did feel like a breath of fresh air and for that I appreciate it.

I personally really loved it it’s a shame that it’ll mostly get ignored and looked over because of its connections with Netflix

I gave it a 7/10. The animation and world building were the best parts of the anime. However, the story and writing felt lacking and it sort of just ended. I went in with maybe higher expectations because the genre and animation style felt right up my alley, but I think it could've used more episodes or maybe a rewrite for its conclusion.

I was very happy to see the show feature two female leads and a few female antagonists. But it didn't help its story.

I really liked it, the animation and action was top notch. Story was a little dumb or confusing at times, but mostly, it was really great.

I think it was a little better than what I was expecting. I liked the racism analogies, it was done better than other vampire stories out there 👍

I loved it but the ending was a bit jarring. Wish it was either a movie or a full series but overall it was gorgeous and I really enjoyed the two main leads.

I expected good animation from Wit Studio and it did deliver on that part, it has some stunning scenes and the soundtrack was emotional.

But the plot and worldbuilding didn't deliver at all after episode 1. It all gone downhill so much and scenes got so absurd unrealistic that I couldn't connect to the characters.

Like surviving some big explosions barely meters from you with just a few scratches (not dead, not with missing limbs or deaf).

Going outside at night in a city full of bloodthirsty vampires when your vampire friend instructed you not to do it because it's too dangerous and the payoff is...I guess they weren't bloodthirsty after all and didn't truly attack her.

Why would vampires want to kill humans if they need their blood to survive? It's like killing the cow that gives you milk. It doesn't make sense, if vampires kill all humans they will slowly die themselves.

The writing is by far the worst part of the series and it makes all the incredible animation and soundtrack go to waste.

The pacing didn't help either, they rushed from scene to scene, from location to location so fast that you couldn't get attached to anyone or anything.

I have a feeling they planned the story for 12 episode, but found out in production that they will have less that half of that runtime and needed to cut all the depth out of the script.

Wit Studio can do anime of the year content, they can do massive popular franchises. This ain't one of them.

I wasn't really expecting anything but this turned out one of my favorites from this decade so far. I always enjoy a tragic romance. I loved the way so little was explained and the world outside the story was left in the shadows, mostly just hinted at. I'm a total sucker for that sort of thing. And the atmosphere in the second half reminded me of the first episode of Fumetsu no anata e and the winter storyline in Houseki no kuni, which rank among my favorite anime episodes. Neither the plot holes nor the goofy ass vehicle and explosion dynamics could overcome those admittedly very subjective things.

I loved it! It was short and sweet. It showed a bit of our reality as humans fighting each other and raised to only believe in your good and 'they' are always the enemy - Seeing the 'us' and 'they' come together and fight against the world was really nice to see, no matter who tried to stop them, they kept on fighting and never gave up on each other.

It was pretty good, but nothing too special, with more episodes maybe it could've been better, I liked the supposed romance between the 2 main protagonists, and the animation was gorgeous to look at, the ending was really tragic, they actually got me to tear up over a character after just 5 eps, and the post credit scene was a nice bow tied at the end of the story, their story grew and their dreams were fulfilled by the end.

Well, some people said to me it was a great show with awesome art and "gay girls in it", so I came with high expectations...
It does have good art, but not so much as some try to say. And it does have two girls that like each other.
But the story is too badly written, characters make no sense, world makes no sense.
At the end it's just a boring and confused show and I regret the hours I lost watching it..

I really liked it, I didn't find it through Netflix and I never really expect great things from Netflix. Having said that, I enjoyed it, i wish it could have been more episodes, even just another 3, but every episode had a point to it and by the end I was hoping for more, the first and last episodes were the best imo. I'm glad they did the scene at the end to basically say, it's done and dusted. Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10 and would recommend to people who want to watch a series in a day.

To me yes. I loved it. The animation along with the atmosphere and world building was amazing. I really just liked the design of everything in general.

Though i dont remember much i liked it, i do plan i re-watching it soon.
