| I caved and decided to watch it. It wasn't actually that bad for a recap, in my opinion. I enjoyed the soundtrack and didn't mind seeing a lot of the action scenes again. It failed as a recap because it pretty much devoted most of its time to stuffing a bunch of the action scenes into its allotted time and left out major story points, but this series didn't even need a recap anyways, so it's fine by me. A dream within a dream within a dream... |

| I already know no one (or almost no one) will agree with me, but as a recap episode it's just shit! I mean, recap are for people who didn't watched the anime yet! It aired at the same time as normal episode, at the beginning of the summer season, so a lot of new viewers watched it! but it don't make sens! From the first seconds you can only think that everything it's Eren dream!!! (it's maybe Eren dream, but even in the manga we still believe it's the reality, no?) and them after he transform for the first time we have him already dreaming of this old house and mom... and then wake up and holding the bug rock even without understand why... just action, on explication... stupid recap! I think all the viewer here already watched the previous 13 episodes since all said it's a so good recap episode... Yes, recap are important since most of Japanese viewers don't download anime, not like foreigners! So recap should at least make the viewer understand what's going on, and make the want more and to watch the previous episodes also by buying/renting the dvd/BD! But this recap is just brainless action mixed from the present time and 5 years ago time... It's not a recap, its just action fanservice! |

| In case anyone hasn't noticed, there were a lot of shortcuts they had to take so they could properly do action scenes. The recap was likely done to save money so the quality of the show didn't suffer. |

| From what I recall way back in official information prior to airing the show was going to be split up at episode 13 - with a few months before episode 14+ - so I'm fine with one wasted week instead of 8+ of them. And hey, this is still better than Last Exile 2 was about it. Episode 7 or 8 in that was a recap, then like another one 4 episodes later. Who has a recap 8 eps in and then one just to cover the past few eps right after it? Eren was pretty bad about it too, with a recap like 4 episodes in if I remember right. |

| Useless recap is useless. Funny how they cut out all the char-building and shown basically only the fighting scenes. Levi in preview gave me cancer and high blood pressure instantaneously, because he's a goddamn douche bag to the max; but that isn't even the problem in itself, the problem is that instead of seeing it for what it is, all them fujoshi are gonna be like: "ohmahgaaaawd, they're such a cute pairing, sub x dom, awww yeaah, fapfapfap". What the fuck women, what the fuck. |

| The recap was okay, but I'm not a fan of recaps in general so take my opinion for what its worth. I don't like the fact that most the recap came from episode 13, makes it seem redundant. Though I liked how they put the start of the series in, making it seem like a dream. Its a nice touch. I think it needed more of Pixis' epic speech. |

| Movie recap ep 1 to 13 just better than this completely. This is simply a meh. Never expect recap already happened around those year, though, and not to mention its from aot. Oh well, how can i expect more, even they recap plot point every beginning of episode. At least this is help me enough to complete mal yearly challenge xp |

| This was a good recap episode, I wish I had found this sooner than now :D. I find it funny that Eren dreamt about having a dream in which he dreamt about sealing the wall :D. 7/10 |

| That was fun to watch. It's always great to see well animated action scenes with ODM gear. Sure, it omitted a lot of things, but I felt it served its role as a brief and entertaining way to remind the viewers about the most important elements of the plot. |
