| Certainly a better episode than the last couple ones. Shirase did the right thing. It is interesting that she is the one that helped Hinata out in both situations when she was in trouble. |
| Lots of drama again. It's sad what the track team did to Hinata. I like Shirase and Hinata's friendship. |

| Friendship in this series a bit more grounded to reality than the ones we usually see, and that's just what I absolutely adore. Also Shirase continuing being the MVP again and again. One more thing, those tan marks were making it difficult to take Mari seriously throughout the episode lol. |

| this show has me tearing up. like...i never thought a show about girls going to antarctica would do that, but then again K-on! got me a little emotional a couple times too. just really good friendship there. |

| I love the stark contrast between Shirase and Hinata. When you look at them they are almost polar opposites. One holds in her emotions and the other lets it all out in whatever form it might take. One goes to Antartica to escape her demons and the other goes to confront them. It's beautiful when you think about it. |

| definitely my favorite episode so far. the consistency with mari's sunburn is so appealing although it may be an overlooked detail. and i love how they didnt show the reactions of hinata's classmates after shirase's harsh monologue, most likely a nod to how their final emotions dont matter as much as hinata's mental state. if i were able to smile past abandonment like that i wouldnt be mentally ill LOL. i cant believe this is tagged as CGDCT cause those are often bland, the characters act buddy buddy throughout the entire series, but here we are able to witness the highs and lows that come with any real human connection. this story is so refreshing. |

| Shirase is the best for sticking up for Hinata like that. I'm so glad that they didn't forgive the old track team and just told them to leave Hinata alone. Sometimes thats just the best thing to do. |
Shirase is the best friend anyone could wish for <3 The was she stood up for Hinata was absolutely the best!  |
