I... I cried. I actually cried. It awakened such strong feelings of nostalgia, and at the same time it was so heartwarming. For some reason it's the little puppet waving at the girls that got me. That was so pure.
And this episode also made me laugh a few times ! I love seeing Aika's and Alice's antics. Alice imagining the puppeteer was carrying a corpse and Aika freaking out anytime the vaporetto stopped were particularly funny moments. I love this trio so much, I just wanna hang out with them all around Neo-Venezia.
Also, I of course admire Akari's social skills (that I'll never have, that's for sure), however I also want to aknowledge how adorably relatable Aika and Alice are, they work very well at being the audience's eyes in this kind of situation.

It is at this point I've decided this show is not an 8 but a 9. It was really smart move to show Akari through another person's eyes. Just as easy as that, now I feel like I understand and appreciate all three of the main girls much more than I did before.

That was pretty cute, chibi Aika and Alice huddled outside the door.

Akari is so lovable and friendly.

This was sooooo beautiful and touching.

These past two episodes have really amped up this season for me.

When you're as genuine and guileless as Akari, people naturally gravitate towards you. In the case of Akari, it's not even that she has good social skills. She's just such a good and optimistic person, that "social skills" and speaking effortlessly to people comes naturally to her, because she is just being herself. Still one of my favorite episodes from the entire series.

Akari seems like so much fun to be around, that's simply why she has so many friends.

Who else thought that the puppeteer was some spirit that entertains children?
