This anime is the definition of “carried by animation”. It deserves anything lower than 4 for the story and +1 for the animation. Darling in the Franxx is a 10 compared to this shit

Visuals were good, sound effects were good, music was good, characters definitely had progression. It was a decent anime, only thing is they didn’t elaborate very well, but that’s on purpose. It did really well for what it was supposed to do.

The right mindset when watching an anime is hoping that it will break your top 10

It was mediocre at best.
Animation was execptional, so it's pretty much all style and no substance. But to be fair it is a mobile game adaptation, so I didn't have high expectations to begin with, that's fundamentally an exercise in futility.

I have to say I quite liked it, especially in the beginning, unfortunately it got worse and worse and I think that goes for most people, the villains were rather boring and idk, just typical and one-dimensional and sagan being revealed as the main villain was not surprising at all, and I wish it had delved into musicart and conductor concept more, like, why do the musicarts even need the conductors except for their life energy? on how they're made and all, also about cosette's transformation(and the events that led to it), but still the visual effects were really good, and also one thing about Takt Op Destiny, it is really colorful and vivid which was a treat for the eyes but maybe for some people, it wasn't as much

This anime is the reason I don't like to get myself excited for trailers because it always ends up being a huge disappointed. Me and my friend watched it together and we were just flabbergasted at the end.. all we could say was; "what a waste of time" and "what the fuck did we just watch"

The sounds, visuals and fight productions were probably top notch level, however, the story writing progressively gets worse, kind of pushes down everything else as a result. But overall it was quite enjoyable. Maybe like a 7/10 sounds fair. Giving the game a chance too, once it releases.

When I watched the first episode I thougt it was going to be a good anime. But as I watched further it just killed my hope more every episode. Worst enemies, worst antagonists, avarage characters, good music, good animation, good design for Unmei.

Facts, you said it. The animation and ost were good but it wasn't enough to carry the show's weak plot.

Definitely no. Overhyped waifu bait bullshit with bad world building and pacing, boring characters and horrible storytelling with some of the worst villains. Even the animation wasn't that amazing. But the aesthetic and music were awesome. Overall 3~4/10 for me

I don't know , didn't like it for the most part and even watched some episodes on 1.5X speed but some emotional moments hit hard and after finishing the final episode i feel this emptiness , this melocholic State and I will probably play the game because I want more of this stuff.

It's not a bad show by any means, but it's not amazing cause what kind of story can you come up with for a mobile game.
The only good things about the show were animation, music and Lenny/Titan.

I think this anime would be on the same level as darling in the franXXX regarding the story that starts off well, but ends with a feeling of "this was supposed to have more eps and better build", the difference is that takt was an advertisement for a game, so it was to be expected that the story was not so constructed.7/10 for me, good animation and soundtrack with a average plot, if the story followed a line where it only showed their way to NY it would have been better than this "final battle" they had with the "villain", something like "do you want to know what happens now? Play the game".
