Hakumei and Mikochi really have such a fun time together. They should be careful at how much they eat sometimes though lol

Hakumei's "master" is a funny character, the type that speaks his mind without wondering much and seems to have a smoking habit.

Well this episode certainly started with a bang! Seriously though, the girls narrowly escaped death more than once. Especially Hakumei! It was cool to see her at work with Master Iwashi, who I really liked. I find the anthropomorphized animals in this so charming. And I'd say he's stuck out the most among them so far.

Hakumei and Mikochi sure did have a fun time camping. Hakumei's master is pretty amusing. He saved her just in time from that fall.

The camping was relaxing and fun to watch, but the second part of the episode provided a bit of a scare with Hakumei being put in danger. Thankfully she was saved by Iwashi and everything ended happily. I hope we see Iwashi more later on, he gave off a good first impression.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

I need way more of Iwashi. He's a great master, didn't hesitate to break the window and possibly hurt himself to save Hakumei.

Class act.

I think this is my favorite episode so far. Got to see some more of the newspaper bug. And between Yuru Camp, Sora Yori, and This is been a great camping week!

The remodeled house is cool too, as well as Iwashi.

This is easily shaping up to be my favorite show of the season. I'm glad they're being very faithful to the manga, and given that fact I'm looking forward to a lot of great stories to come.

Iwashi is cool and only gets better.

Loving the little variations on the main theme in the score.

Under our world's physics, smaller creatures are tougher against falls. It's unfortunate for these characters that, in addition to having to deal with being small, they're apparently susceptible to the same fall damage as we are. http://fathom.lib.uchicago.edu/2/21701757/

As J.B.S. Haldane put it in his classic essay, "On Being the Right Size," "You can drop a mouse down a thousand-yard mine shaft; and, on arriving on the bottom, it gets a slight shock and walks away....A rat is killed, a man broken, a horse splashes." Haldane was being quite literal.

When their house explode, I lost my shit. Hahaha. So nice and so great of Sen to "fix" their house. That's not called FIXING! Pffft. Fix me a house, too, Sen-chan. Hahaha. Of course, whenever she's being nice, she should benefit from it. Haha. I freaking love her.

Watching this after watching Yuru Camp makes me want to go camping RIGHT NOW!

Hakumei started working as a carpenter with Iwashidani who's a weasel. Haha. "So, even though you're an itachi (weasel), your name is Iwashi (sardines)?" Goddamnit, Hakumei, you can't just ask someone that question. Hahaha. Freaking part where she almost fell gave me a mild heart attack. Hahaha jk. Iwashidani, arigatou gozaimashita! Poor Hakumei, but I think it's kinda a good thing that she didn't tell Mikochi she had an accident. Gaaaah afkjangdn!

5/5. <3

Guess im like the only one who doesnt get the appeal of the show, it kinda reminds me of those shows or cartoons i watched as a kid that kinda piss me off because of how childish they were. This anime has its cute moments but for the most part its just boring, for me i mean, im sure other people are enjoying it more. Still its pretty unusual with talking animals running around, so ill watch it more to see how it goes.

I don't know why but this anime is kinda.. meh. I've been reading the manga for over a year and I love it to death, but I don't think the anime does the manga justice. It's a faithful adaptation and all but... it's missing something and I can't put my finger on it

What makes this show dissimilar to that I think you have in mind in the dynamic between main characters. It's not exactly a kids having adventures in a wacky world kind of show. They're more like a married couple basically just living their lives. And even though that might make it even more boring in some ways, there's also certain niceness to the whole thing that outweights it - at least for some people, like you said.

I understand where your coming from. As much as I love this anime, there really ain't nothin going on. For me in particular, I really enjoy the slower pace of it, combined with it's unique art style and interesting little world they have, it's calming and just feels nice. This is an anime I enjoy most with a nice cup of coffee after a long hard day.

What a way to start the episode... BOOM! :D Certainly not something one would have expected to see in this series.

Mikochi really can't handle living outside like this well, but Hakumei's crafting skill works wonders in making her feel at home even here.

Mikochi, God of Fire!

Honestly, I expected a fruit to fall on them the moment I saw the tree when they first arrived at it, it just felt too dangerous to me, but I had completely forgotten about it until it actually happened. :D

Sen's taste is a bit too much for the two... Or anyone, really. :D

Hard to tell who's the boss at Hakumei's new job at times... :D

Rescued just in time, a window to fix now as well, though.

Hakumei took her accident very hard. Iwashi did the right thing by giving Hakumei his broken sandal to repair. I guess Hakumei felt she had lost face when the foothold collapsed. Iwashi is allowing her to save face with the sandal repair, and even insists she accept payment.

Iwashi is pretty cool for a mustelid.

I did not expect that the two protagonists would also change home, what a surprise! This adds a certain beauty to the anime series, in addition to what has already been seen. After this episode the questions on the protests deuts are crowded, I'm happy that some are already answered. Other anime series, I'm really appreciating this winter season 2018. What a pity that it is underestimated by many. :(

Wow, they were both on the verge of death twice this ep. Not to mention Hakumei's accident. Too bad they lost their home but fortunately, there was Sen to help them out with her weird necromancy stuff...necromancy is kinda cool tbh

P.S: The greenhouse/laboratory is a really charming addition for the new house to be honest. I would spend most of the time there while it's raining.

Yuru Camp tiny humans version. At least before the tangerine crushed their tent.

The second half about Hakumei's job was really good. Serious Face Hakumei. Her boss is the grumpy type, but he actually cares for her.

I appreciate the OP even more each time. Camping was so sweet, especially Mikochi's love for the fire. There were some unfortunate events in this, I got a bit anxious for Hakumei there for a moment. I suppose I can't expect all chill vibes with nothing bad ever happening. It all worked out in the end though!
