 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Keigo Maki's Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san (Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie) romantic comedy manga revealed the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual on Friday (pictured). The anime is set to premiere in April 2022.Saori Oonishi (Sonny Boy) and Shuuichirou Umeda are starring as Shikimori Micchon and Izumi Yuu, respectively. This marks Shuuichirou's first role as a main character in an anime. | damn, they shoulda went with the drama CD VA's (Hayami Saori and Yamashita Daiki) think they would've fit the roles better for the characters lol oh well, at least MC seems to be voiced by a newcomer so it's nice to see |

| This manga is the most wholesome thing on earth, honestly gives me a lot of diabetes and hopefully it's getting more attention! Really recommend to give this manga a read if you're into a slice to life and drama-free, it involves pretty quick chapters imo so I'm curious on how they will adapt the chapters into an episode. Also the VAs are a great choice and I really am looking forward to some more additional cast to voice some of my favorite characters and maybe a PV for this ;). Furthermore, really looking forward to this and hoping that Doga Kobo can do this justice because if they do, then this adaptation could be possibly the best romcom in 2022 or perhaps the best adaptation that Doga Kobo has ever did! whilst Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi and Plastic Memories becoming the 2nd and 3rd runner ups 4 me :3 |
| LETS GOOOOO!! When I saw manga like Nagato-san, Tonikawa, Kanojo mo Kanojo and Komi-san getting adapt, I knew it was just a matter of biding my time till Kawamori got its adapt. Too hyped! |
