why do people keep on praising the animation? it's visually pretty but the animation is botched in countless scenes

It is an incomplete anime. That's the problem. Remember the mess with FFXV? Had they deliver a more complete story instead of baiting us, I would be disappointed less. You don't need to answer every question but some questions do need resolutions particularly when you made it the theme. Not just that, you need to have the right answers as well.

I give you an example - why did Koito die? We got an answer and it was an answer that doesn't fit the narrative. Koito was Ai's friend. She cared about the teacher. Her story was a tragedy. The special upend that by making her a slanderer and she died because of carelessness? What! And even when she died - the story made it so that she doesn't remember Ai. In fact, I'm not even sure it was the same Koito.

This is not really a rant but rather me talking about the episode
I am not That Disappointed, but rather confused, because that gave us questions
Where is Neiru and What Happened to her now?
How did Kotobuki from an alt-universe get to the Canon Universe?
Why did egg people forget who revived them?
What happened to Ai's pet after her fight with?
and plotholes (of course)
I just found out the surprise the end moment, which dropped my rating from 6 stars to 5 stars
I would have given 4 stars but I'm giving 5 because hard work, and Pros:
Good Animation
Good Music
Fine Plot
Good Voice Acting

I watched the 25 min recap because I kind of forgot what happened.
The continuation of the Story is Ok except for my questions.
I give this a 5.7/10.

Honestly couldve just asked Sawaki in the first place and ended the anime in like 3 episodes. Couldve saved Ai from those injuries and probably saved Cloverworks some budget to use on other animes that can dissapoint us in some other creative and original ways.

That is a good point, because Ai just got close enough of Mr. Sawaki after all those fights, making the tirp kind of worthy. Thx dude, you just save my 46 minutes of disapointment.

Am I the only one that liked the episode? The emotional level is incredibly high, the new concepts were some what introduced in previous episodes, and there is *some* amount of closure. I will admit that I just assumed there would be a season 2 or a movie or something down the road so I wasn't bummed out by unanswered questions; if this is indeed the last we see of WEP then my opinion on this will lower.

I was enjoying this show for the first few episodes and i had so much faith for the rest of it, but it didn't go well...
My biggest problem with this show is the antagonist. That girl suddenly came out of nowhere and ruined the story. It would be better if this show didn't have an antagonist.

Also, I still don't get the ending.

the reason for her suicide doesn't matter much, Frill manipulating girls' feelings to commit suicide if they are depressed Frill can make them kill themselves for the dumbest reason possible.

Lack of actual content, lack of conclusion, and the little conclusion we got was awful, pretty much character assasination in case of Neiru.
