DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yup, I'm not surprised to see Hyunckel fight despite the odds pinned against him. That's the level of determination I had expected. This episode had more action but was also tough to watch. Jesus Christ, what an ending. |

| Damn I feel bad for Nova. His hubris was his downfall today, but luckily Hyunckel was there to bail him out. I was honestly expecting him to die. One thing that confuses me about this series is the power scaling. So Dai was able to fight Hadlar who is obviously stronger than the royal guards, but struggles to fight them? Sometimes the fights seem a bit contrived, but it’s still an incredibly entertaining series. |

| Honestly this episode was crazy good. Nova. Oh man. The guy had too much of an ego in his brain. Like literally he got his butt handed to him badly. However, unintentionally he saved his, Dai, and Popp's lives, that item that can reflect any spell is dangerous. When it comes to the games spells or items that counter spells is a major hindrance because the attack can be twice or more devastating. |

My jaw was on the floor most of it. The Hadlar Royal Guard, aka the most badass chess pieces known to man, are a sight to behold. They are no joke, for real, not only made of orihalcum but strong in their own right. After seeing the pawn wreck every opponent who's faced him it should be no surprise that the knight, queen and rook are absolute badasses too. Of course the Queen being the most powerful chess piece makes sense but the knight being able to reflect spells takes a huge asset away from Popp. I can definitely see why they got Nobuhiko to voice Nova. An arrogant hero wannabe whom talks big but can't always back it up, someone who needs to be humbled before they reach their true potential, remind you of anyone. I can definitely see the Bakugo similarities. There chess pieces are legit as it gets, luckily Dai has some strong allies and isn't trying to solo all five of them. I mentioned it a few episodes ago but hyped to see team vs team battle You can be hyped dude !!! Episode 49 will broke your jaw ! |

Don't forget they are summoned monsters like Freeze so you have to destroy their core. They are in orichalcum, the strongest metal in the world of Dai no Daibouken. They all have a lot of determination and pride. They have strong unique battle skills. They are really really strong, you'll see... And they are 5 : Not sure Dai can handle 5 ennemies of this level at the same time. No, really, i think the combat scaling is ok. |

| damn Popp almost accidentally killed them all if he fired that Medroa lol Novas power is cool though a Spirit Sword is always cool to see but ye Nova is an arrogant fool for sure although in some cases i may agree with what he said on this exchange with Dai  |
| Not sure how to feel towards Nova yet, but despite his current arrogant and quite annoying attitude he's brave enough and I'm sure that he'll improve his behavior later, anyway that was tense and epic, that Hyunkel's appearance at the end is not even surprising at this point, he never disappoints lol |

| Another good episode. Next episode will be even better But one thing that make no sense is that Dai should easily be able to get out of ice specially if he used dragon crest |

| Well, what a strong way of introduction for a new character. Looks like Nova had some intense grudge about Dai greatness story behind him, and with the addition of the fail he got from the latest battle at Orzam, made him sure to be an arrogant person and overconfident. But, his aura blade technique kinda nice. I wonder if Dai will learn that thing too, or Avan strike literally the same one? I'm still have no clue. In the mean time, Chuu had his own journey, idk where's he goin. But, thanks Chuu, take that Gome-chan away! The first contact happened. Hym had a fun play with Nova, while other introduction had a strong place. Almost thinking they would be annihilate with one blow of Medroa. But, once again it won't work that easily because the enemy had a counter of that spell. Oh well. Hyunckel entrance always epic, dude possess a great charm. But once again the preview kill the cliffhanger as soon as possible. Lel. Alright. More week to be wait for the real battle.... |

| Wow. Nova was really full of himself in this episode. He kind of reminds me of Vegeta from DBZ in a sense that he is prideful, arrogant, and always has something to prove. Poor Nova had to learn the hard way about how strong the Hadlar Royal Guard really is. |

| Well yeah, Nova is arrogant but has some skills, if he can learn to work as a team mate with Dai and the others, he can be a good addition for our friends. Don't know what's going to happen but some folks have pointed out that next episode will be awesome so I'm pretty much looking forward to it. |

| The show keeps getting better and better! damn! if Nova didn't interfere then Popp's Medroa would reflect and it would be the end of them! damn! so that's why Matoriv never used that spell because there is a high chance that it could get reflected and causing more collateral damage to his allies! DAMN! 5/5. |

| All that training/powers and a simple freeze spell can disable Dai apparently. This is why I hate when writers can't come up with a less stupid way of disabling their OP hero even temporarily. |
