DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Today is the release of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season recap episode, as we expect one week before aired the main episode of the season. Our hosts for todays episode are Veldora and Efit, they discus the episode 1 to 12 of S2 and their tandem is really savage and hilarious. | Yeah, a very nice recap, with an entertaining commentary from Veldora and Ifrit, once again. Veldora mentioned about the mask again, which is kinda give me an idea, its not just some random words from him, right? Well, most parts were okay. Raphael-sama and Veldora-Ifrit talk part was the highlight. Because its give me such a missing story, filling the gap, about behind the scene before Rimuru-sama finally revived Veldora into those form. Overall, this is exactly what i can called as a required recap.... |

| I haven't watched it yet but I have a great feeling about it. Season 2 Part 1 left us a great ending, I am so excited to see what happens (I have not read the manga so)… Anyway as soon as I can watch this I will come back and share my thoughts |

| This recap was basically a commentary on Season 2 Part 1's events by Veldora and Ifrit. I think there was some new animation around the 15 or 16 minute mark? Not sure. It's funny to hear how Veldora intends to impress Rimuru after materializing into his human form lol. I enjoyed Slime Diaries and kind of miss it. It's cool they made this recap to bridge the gap between Tensura Nikki and Season 2 Part 2 of the main series. rasterman7 said: Best recap I've seen all week... though the bar was low. | HEY GUYS, at least every recap of Tensei Slime is good at best, because of how much content it could squeeze in 12 episodes. AT LEAST BE THANKFUL that they did recaps lest we forgot. |

I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |

At the end of every manga volume, there is always a few pages of text with veldora and ifrit reactions, so we actually get MORE interaction. These recap episodes are really based off of those, though the first one wasn’t as good of an adaptation as this. The anime added those comments about learning from shion (...sure) but the banter and commands from Raphael actually happened. OH!! So we'll see old boy Ifrit in the open air soon as well?? That would be awesome!! ngl!! |

| I don't mind seeing this recap at all. The condensed but still glorious counterattack, Veldora confirming the Dragon Princess story as Milim, and Diablo as an Archdemon. Heck even their discussion showed insight on the political systems like the consequence if King Edomalis was outright kllled. ...and Raphael ordered Veldora to acquire an Ultimate Skill in order to break Unlimited Imprisonment, then suggested to Ifrit to continue training instead. LOL |

| I am not fond at all about recaps. Usually they knock a series and work significantly in my eyes. Here it is made passable. By the insight provided through commentary. On two minor characters whom have been passive observers. And lore drivers in the background. Now that one of them is entering as a full character again. Having a back and forth commentation on previous events. That happened under their gaze. But lacked their direct involvement in almost any part. Also w/o mention by author either. Allows for clarification on the parts of the story that they were involved in. So thats what makes this a worthwhile inclusion in the series. Especially in watch order. Even if most of the time there is little reason to do much else than skim and or skip these recaps. Here there is in fact worth enough. To warrant watching it. Also the voice actors did a solid performance. In their conversation with each other. |

| At least this recap had a bit of extra info and even a couple of new scenes added compared to the first Veldora's Journal that recapped the first season so because of that I liked this one more. 7/10 |
