Wow! I'm so glad you liked FLCL that much! It is one of my favourite shows. And don't worry, FLCL is a piece of art that keeps on giving. Every time I watch it I find and discover new things and meanings. It is a really special show. It is amazing how you picked so muc of the metaphors after watching it once though, I'm impressed! I thought about the sour drink thing after like 5 times re-watching it to pick up the meaning and symbolism. Or maybe I'm just stupid pahahahahha.

If you want to watch some incredibly entertaining and "deep" YouTube analysis on the show, I would greatly recommend the channel "Hiding in Public". It has quite a lot of analysis on different characters, storylines and arcs. Check it out!

Hiii, sorry for responding so late. I haven't feeling well lately so i tried to keep away from social media a bit hash.

Hashahs I did the same thing when ended watching NGE, tried to interpret it myself, then discussed w friends and finally watched 200 videos about it hahash. The TV series (and the end of eva movie) ending seems to be for me Shinji's overcome through depression, in the 2 final episodes we see him portraying himself in other's minds, what does Misato thinks of me? How do I look to Rei? Who am I for Asuka's eyes? and then after accepting himself everyone congratules him, all this happens while Rei is asking him if he'll forgive humanity or not i think. That's a great view of the movie ending! Never thought of Asuka as a represantation of humanity and Shinji's reason for strangling her. My interpretation was: Asuka and Shinji have a love-hate relationship, both are fvcked up mentally and that's why they can empathize as humans but at the same time each of them represent a piece of themselves which they hate, being Shinji representing Asuka's cowardy and Asuka representing Shinji's lack of determination. They represent the hedgehog's dilemma perfectly because they can't stand each other while being the same. Shinji's sexual attraction was always towards Asuka, in the last scene when he realizes his subconcious asked Rei to revive Asuka so they could live a whole eternity together re-populating earth or whatever he first feels shocked "why her? didn't i hate her?" he realizes he loves her and hates her at the same time. Asuka feels the same way and that's why she places her hand in his face while Shinji's strangling her in order to demostrate affection, just to then say "how gross" meaning she loves him but is a nightmare for her to be with him forever. Yess, that man is a genius, creating such a masterpiece in a bankruptcy studio while dealing with depression is insane.

Oh we here eat a lot of cow meat! Our most typical dishes are almost all served w cow meat since quality here it's pretty good. Other typical dishes are "tortas fritas" which are basically fried salty floured dough which you can add topings or eat them just as they are :) Most typical drink is "mate" which is kinda hard to explain but let's say it's a really bitter tea.

Hahsahshh, I mean, It can be interpretated in many different ways. My interpretation about Eva's ending was that due to what Shinji's mom says about the pilot and the angel's soul fuse, Shinji, Asuka and Rei will be immortal due to the angels capacity to not die. Then Shinji decides to forgive humanity for all what they've done to him and other and asks Rei for returning them back to life, Rei dies leaving only Shinji and his sexual interest (asuka, she even fapped on her once) in order to give them the chance to re-create humanity just like Adan and Eva. That's how I saw it, but there are a lot of theories about it. Now, the thing is that if we take rebuild like cannon, then that final scene it's just a moment that Rei gives them to be in peace for the last time, since in rebuild it seems like Rei re-created the world just as it was before the third impact :) Idk man, NGE is so complex that even Hideaki can't comprehend it lmaoooo.

OMGGG SEL IS AMAZING, literally the definition of "hidden gem" for me. A lot of ppl hates it because is so fvcking weird the majority of the time that can make some ppl back up, but lemme tell you that is def worth to watch. If you think NGE was confusing and complex, omg, SEL is way more.

Lmaoo, such a coincidence, I remember not caring because I wasn't into football at that time ahsha, congrats for winning the UCL 20/21!! Yess, I mean, here ppl eats it every time but doesn't love it, here rice is boring since we don't season it but I love strong seasoning fried rice, or even fried rice itself is delicious. We don't eat rice as a main dish but as a complement, that's why ppl eats it a lot but doesn't care that much about it.

Yess, you should start Punpunn, is getting better and better!! Oh yes I know, Aria always caught my attention and I hadn't ever heard of YKK until i got a bit deep into the manga community, it seems to be really loved but it's kinda too long hashah, definitely gonna check it someday, it seems wholesome. Odd Taxi was great!! Last season was one of the best anime seasons of anime history my god, stacked of interesting and great shows.

OMG YES, this undescriptable emptiness feels just like the ending of NGE, especially the fact that Asuka and Shinji will have to live a whole eternity while hating-loving each other alone in the world and Phos basically the same but even worse since she's alone. Yeah, the only gem that genuenly liked her was Antarc and Adamant, heartbreaking to see how she fights for her "friends" who abandoned her and hates Adamant, the only one who truly loved her. Through all the series it seems like the gems are friends with each other, but I think that's just a mask, if you are useless they won't notice you, they didn't treat Phos badly at the beggining for being useless but their treatment towards her changed a lot when she got the gold-platinum arms. Well, obviously when they didn't see any longer use to her, they abandoned her in earth, tragic :(. Lmao hashah I know the meme, I actually thought the same when I realized the manga was on hiatus. Hope she enjoys her PS5 but finishes the story someday too!!

It would be crazy seeing Phos forgetting his gem friends or keep forgetting memories and replacing them with new ones, after all even tho they are immortal, memories are not. We humans even experience this when forgetting important memories for us due to time :). OMG TRUEE, Phos has become one of my fav characters ever, especially because of her character development (idk if call her or him so I'll use both lmao) I truly can relate how obsessed she's with changing, with feeling worthless, guilty and useless and how all these thoughts made her to change to a point she forgot who she was or what she wanted to do. When she becomes the "monster" due to his resentment towards his fellow gems I felt that, he went from "I will make sensei pray so lunarians can go and we will have a happy peaceful life" to "I will make sensei pray just for the sake of my mision", even destroying the ones he promised to help. True, I agree that would be a good open ending, the story can be exploit much more or left as it is right now.

Yess, Uruguay is a little South American country, I'm glad and surprised you know that! Since we're between two massives (Brazil and Argentina) tourism is pretty good here, mostly because of american and ppl from the other 2 countries I mentioned. We're pretty little so our beaches are pretty nearby, I live in the city but the nearest beach is 20 mins away by car. How is it living in Indonesia? I heard the food is good!!

Yesss, I started Punpun, i actually had started it long time ago and didn't remember much about it so started it again. It's pretty good so far, right now it's not depressing but I'm sure it will turn that way. Punpun is such a relatable charcter man, you'll love him. Innocent is one of my fav manga, it tells the story of a member of the Sanson's family (a family of executioners of XIX french) and basically he's forced to inherit the main executioner title of france, while he's absolutely scared of blood and it's really emphatic towards his victims. It's REALLY gore so if you are interested give it a try, the synopsis might not sound brillaint but it's definitely worth :))

Yesss the hiatus is killing me. I wonder either Phos will become a new "sensei" in the sense of taking care of the new gems that'll born on earth or if he/she will just be alone all this time. It's reaaaally amazing how the story developed to that point, I started the anime just for the visuals but stayed for the amazing world building, characters and story :)
