----------------------------------------
The match got pretty intense especially with the rainy weather. With neither team getting a real advantage, it looks like Nozomi stepped it up and put some serious effort into her attack.

Really glad to see Nozomi's team playing so hard on the field. Sumire also made quite an impressive with her skills. Tbh, this episode felt more like everyone working together as a team than just trying to win a game.

It's quite admirable if you ask me.

The intense match between Warai Seinan and Urawa Hosei continues with the 2nd half, with the strategy tactics and help from Mother Nature. The Jizo statue No. 8 Nozomi has been ordered to shut down No. 26 Chika, by hook or by crook. Once she's out of line, then the Warabi Seinan girls can commit their counterattack.

I admire Nozomi a lot, having been defeated by the Kunogi girls at the Futsal tourney 21-0, it accumulates experience that differentiats between amateurs and professionals. Imitating Dragan Stojkovic to score a goal, that was SO CLOSE, hitting the sidebar.

The explanation of Nozomi in the boys's soccer team, that lines up with her history in the prequel manga that is Sayonara, Football. How far has she come her way to showcase her true soccer abilities, Nozomi has grown the most in this trial, and the Warabi Seinan girls supporting her as means to stray her away from her individuality and pair in teamwork of the entire Warabi girls' soccer team.

A better-than-good episode in trade of the many bad ones before it. Looking forward to the finish line of this match.

Our girls are playing so well in this half so far against Uruwa Hosei. As the coach suggested, Nozomi is focusing on their #26, and she's definitely getting the results. The girls are doing really well and making everyone proud on the field. Even the opponent's coach can see her talent.

With Nozomi showing her skills on the field, the only one who can stop her is their #26 who's good enough to handle on her own and she's up for the challenge as well. This rivalry is going crazy right now and Nozomi is not alone as her teammates are literally behind her supporting her game.

Great going, girls!!!

Great episode again.

Non-chan putting the moves on the field, the flick was awesome and the juggle run was crazy. Insane touches.

I'm kinda liking how the show never over powers Non-chan, it's clear that she's very capable but they do well to show that her opponents are just as good and while she has her fancy plays from time to time, she gets tackled out an equal amount.

The last scene with Midori picking the ball up after Non-chan lost it and passing it to Suo was great. Looking forward to the next episode and likely the conclusion of the match.

The prequel movie "First Touch" is so good that it helps me enjoy the TV series much more than before. And now I understand why Onda deserves to have those three boyfriends at the same time (I think only one confess to her, but I don't know her response), and some girlfriends if she want...

Just took 11 episodes to the Nozomi from the movie appear, finally. Talk about eleventh hour, when the season is almost ending.
With that said, great episode.

If you google "Dragan Stojkovic juggling" you can find a video of the real incident that move from this episode was based on. Of course in reality what Onda did is impossible, and the real Stojkovic only manages a few touches before he starts losing control of the ball, and the defender has already caught up to him in that short time, because juggling like that naturally slows you down even more than kicking it across the wet surface would. Nice reference to an obscure moment in football history though.

That was a great ass episode! Definitely my favorite by far. I should really get to watching the movie, I'll definitely watch it before the next episode comes out.

Was patiently waiting for Onda to pop off and she did, that was amazing. I dare ya'll to call her Jizo statue again. Still, gotta give props where it's due, Chika is a different beast herself. I am really looking forward to the end of this match which I assume will end next episode. I hope we get a season 2, though I'll probably start reading the manga anyway.

Onda showing them off why she's called by her friends as the "boss".

And the prequel movie made me enjoy the show more now after seeing what Onda experienced on her middle school years.

After watching the movie, i can't help but feeling motivated to see more of Onda's captivating soccer play. Then, here i am, feels good when my wish comes true. Onda got all the attention she needs than before. Even successfully moving out Chika's mind and position onto finally recognized Onda's talent and tried to stop her alone. But, like Echizen said, there's no a lone wolf when you got another wolfes as your teammate. They will gladly backing you up and, well, supporting you all the way they can, even from behind, until the time is end.

The Jizo status is not just a usual typical statue. Its the statue who can be a forcing driver and a differenciate for the team to cleared up the stalemate situations, and well, maybe get one and two goals as a nice result. Pretty fun but intensed play, right? So, lets go, girls! Bust them up! 2 more episodes!

pretty good episode :O
when they said "no one expected Non-chan next play, i thought about the OP, so it didn't surprise me, but the next one where she dribbled past the girl before shooting...was pretty cool

i still haven't watched the movie, will probably wait till season ends

that being said, and like i already commented before, all this hype about fighting Ito team and everything else, with 60(?) manga chapters... can the source material really add anything to the anime? kinda sad that one of the animes that actually makes me wanna read what comes after the anime has such a small source material lol
favorite "new girls" from fall <3 (lol i only watched these) ... click sig for older seasons

This show has really taken it's time, super slow starter, but it is finally getting good. This episode felt really well put together and engaging. Finally get to see something for all the hype about Non-chan when she hasn't exactly been delivering so far. Next episode should be interesting, but a bit bummed it's almost finished now that the show if finally getting more into the swing of things.

They're talking too much, we don't see enough of the play itself, just slow-motion parts :/ that was still fine though, it's tense.

Time for the Onda-effect! Onda really shining this episode with her incredible ball control and in the process inspiring her teammates to also play better.

Man, this is so boring and ugly. The characters just suck...
The animation is inconsistent and unimpressive.
I liked how Onda have run like million kilometers and still was only near the centre line.
The girls from the opponent team are pretty cool, i wish they were main characters instead of these assholes. Of course they are way more skillful than main characters, but all they are doing is running or standing around like idiots.
I kinda like female coach but why is she even in the team?
This is sure gonna be one hell of a torture to finish this filth...
