| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I am not sure if this was based around an actual war, or just a play off of one. Pretty good stuff though I have to say. My only complaint is that it tended to drag on at the end. 7/10 from me. |
| pretty sleepy when i watched it but it seemed to drag from when the posters were clapping near the start :/ i don't remember much from the middle 20 minutes |

| For a still movie this was actually quite enjoyable to watch, it had a very interesting atmosphere and well that ending sure was dramatic as well filled with emotions! So all in all a pretty interesting movie. |

| The hands of the violinist and the pianists were probably not animated because it was too complicated? Anyway, some of the posters had a few funny gags, but the whole thing was too long for its content. I guess the whole thing with that military poster is a criticism of, well, militarism and related propaganda overtaking culture and impoverishing it. And everything the followed next is just explicit in its message. Though the ending is like tragically optimistic - most things were destroyed but we can still move on. |
