| Okay, I won't say this show is the next coming of Christ with a lackluster character especially Joe, but I was not here for that. I was here for the gut-wrenching underdog story and boy I got that in the first season. With phenomenal animation and aesthetic value, your eyes are glued to the screen. With such a good soundtrack to complement the high adrenaline fights, you just feel like you are part of the crowd cheering for them. So, that is what I hope in season 2, but I was wrong again. Not only did I get great animation, soundtrack, but it fleshed out the character especially Joe, the big criticism I had in season one. Now I can call it something close to the next coming of Christ. Easily an 8.4 out of 10 and I project it going up higher with the ending of the season. People are saying Vivy, 86, Fruits Basket the most underrated show of this season. WRONG. It's Nomad: Megalo Box 2. |

| yeah ...with a 8.28 its underrated.😶 (even vivy, 86 and fruit basket all are underrated?😶) never seen Ashita no Joe, but i have watched its first season, didnt really make any impact on me. unless this infinitely better than first season, i think this is also will go past me too. though i still will watch it because first season was not that bad either. |

| This anime is easily AoTY for me. Its not even close - I've rated it a full 2 points above anything else so far this year. The art style is a homage to late 90s/00s (aka peak anime) Soundtrack is amazing Direction is amazing Detail is amazing Story telling and narrative is amazing. The characters are not pathetic teenagers. This is a proper anime. The MAL rating is offensive. |
