| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh Manta, sometimes he really does show the curiousity and behavior of a kid his age. Honestly, I found this episode kinda amusing given the context of his personality. Not a bad episode although it was kinda hard to take it seriously at times compared to a few of the others. Oh and Ren seems to be moving forward more into his plans. |

| Poor Manta, I felt so bad for the kid. Firstly, his family is filled with jerks, and then considering what Yoh did to him broke him more even tho Yoh was thinking for his safety. He can't take any more chances with his life. But, I'm glad he didn't take it too personally. Yoh, on the other hand after losing has gone back to Izumo to train and become stronger since there are so many stronger opponents he'll have to face from now on. That Tamao girl is cute and she cares about Yoh too. We saw another love interest or rival, not technically since Anna is already his fiance. Anna is mean. LOL Happy to see that their friendship wasn't that weak to break away that easily. Yoh's oversoul has also evolved which is great for him. |

| Tamao's spirits...that fight was super disgusting. Maybe kid me would have liked this humor back in the day. It just felt so random and gave me a major wtf moment. lmao At least the training arc was over fast, it didn't have any impact whatsoever tho. lol |

| Holy hell, I forgot how relentless Manta's family is. But even more worse than most, his spineless behaviour has caused Yoh more losses than wins, to which in the Shaman Fight, there's no pleasantries for emotions and hurts. Even Wooden Sword Ryu and his minions have already found their Best Place, and forcing Manta on the ride and journey to Izumo to seek Yoh, pretty typical stuff for its day. But both of them brining calamity to Yoh as told by Tamao? Sure sounds like a sinister plan. Tamao with Ponchi and Concho against Manta and Ryu in the face of death, thank Anna for sparing lives. "I'm Yoh's wife, and you're his fan." OH THE HURT, BIG OOF. Beneath it all, Yoh has improved from his training back home, and everyone is finally on the same track. The return match with Tao Ren is impending. |

| We can't have a slightly explicit panel of Faust slicing Manta's abdomen open but seeing Manta getting trapped in a huge scrotum is totally fine... okay. In the end, it seemed Yoh's "hellish" training only lasted one afternoon with this pacing. |

| It was pretty solid. I'm glad manta got some character growth and wow.. he has a super large house lol. I wonder if yoh got strong enough to beat ren because by the looks of it, ren isn't a joke at all. |

| Another episode, another bunch of L's for Manta, when will the Manta suffering stop lmao. His family is shit, well typical rich family. Glad Ryu is helping Manta, so Manta can find his best place, this was a needed development for him. Anna is best waifu of course, but Tamao is pretty cute too. Anna really called herself Yoh's wife and then Tamao, Yoh's fan lmao. What the fuck were those ballsac spirits though, Ponchi and Conchi. That was disgusting, Ponchi's ballsac straight swallowed Manta and then Konchi pissed at him lmao. Let's go, our local stoner Yoh's furyoku has increased after spending 7 days in the netherworld. I am assuming that is not the final form of his oversoul. Man, Ren is so cool now, looking forward to "Yoh vs Ren again!". |

| Once again the actual training is off screen and as a result Yoh evolves his oversoul, the dispute between Yoh and Manta is resolved with complete ease and that pink haired girl gets a clunky introduction. Nothing feels earned. Watching this now, I like the actual content of Shaman King more than I remember from the vastly superior older anime, but this half assed adaptation is making it hard to get in to. I don't know why I'm still watching it. Maybe I'll pick up the manga instead |

| This episode was decent. I watched it in fear that after the half point mark the fight will magically start, instead we got the whole episode for some development which is great. Again, I liked the soundtrack during this one and Tamao's introduction was nice. |

| No issues with this episode; a lot was covered but it all worked for me just fine. Got a good semblance of the characters and what was happening. Could've sworn Ryu also swooned over Tamao.... but maybe in another episode. I know the joke was that he always was into any loli he saw, so in time, I'm sure. I was surprised to see Tanuki balls in this one, but I'm glad they were left in and it wasn't even a big deal. It's not in Japan at all, where that's just part of the myth. Overall, good episode. 4/5 |

| Was this always so deep? So weird how many things I don't remember- but Ryuu's simple life philosophy and how relatable Manta is and his relationship with Yoh- and gdi I seem to vaguely recall Ponchi and Conchi?? But that kick in the nuts and being pissed on by a spirit- and you think nobody could forget something like that... xD Also, Yoh needs to have his hair up more often. Absolutely adorable. His cave training felt like a major skip, though, like there should've been more there? Just like the very start of the episode, where I had to wonder whether I missed an episode or something. BUT REN!!! still absolutely glorious. All the things I love about him, including his silly obsession with milk. |

Look how many people say this anime is bad and not good as first, I will say the same to others with the same quotes to show how good I can score an anime based on someone else thinking. So if you want anime with good scores they need either good news based on TV rating, how many sells it gave and so, either to be an influencer to tell the people that is good because if you search on youtube about this new reboot, mostly who posted say it ruins the show, and thats wrong cuz it makes a lot of others to think the same, people after saw just one of these videos are watching the show with other eyes saying: "eh, anyway is not good like the youtuber said, but I will watch anyway to see how bad it is" and they do not understand they are enjoying watching the show. Even if it have to be forced in 52 episodes because who knows why, they are making a good work. |
