| This anime has done such a brilliant job of retelling the Sherlock Holmes cases that I can't wait to see what they do with Jack The Ripper! I'm also glad that we're back to things being told from the Moriarty perspective again cause everything they do is just so wickedly satisfying! I can't even describe how impressed and wowed I am with what they've done with Irene Adler. They took everything she was in the books and perfectly translated it into anime form and then expanded upon it in a thrilling and utterly unique way that has me excited to see her succeed in her new role. |

Bonde literally identifies himself as HE/HIM NOT SHE/HER it's really not hard to understand.Why are people using she/her when it was discussed right in this very episode that Bonde identifies as a man? To the point everyone (with exception of Moran at the moment) agrees "you're a man, he/him" and say as such. That aside I really loved this episode we got lots of character development, Bonde being his badass self, Jack the Ripper, AND Liam's squishy cheeks!! What else could I ask for? 😭 |

William is one of the protagonists, the three Moriarty brothers are the anti-heroes. The anime decided to cut some of the goriest arcs where they saved children hunted down by nobles like animals before killing those disgusting filth. Or when they stopped a war with Afganistan and saved a bunch of people in the Embassy (In the manga, Albert sent Moran to this case, assigned by Mycroft way before the Adler case - they cut all the Albert and Mycroft dynamics). They also cut how William and his brothers put their land taxes extremely cheap to improve the lives of the people who rented it from the previous owner in episode 4 (the entire economical aspect was axed in the show) which show William's full empathy toward how hopeless and wretched they looked when they came to "pay the taxes" at the former pricing (He and Albert rejected that). Well at first I was critical because I assumed the whole James Bond thing was just crossdressing (a trope I'm tired of seeing in anime), but is this actual transgender representation? Maybe non-binary? If it is, then I'm happy with that. I will respect his new identity and pronouns. "James Bond is trans" is NOT the take I was expecting from this Sherlock Holmes fanfiction but I'm here for it. Jack the Ripper huh? Well. Why not? Also William having to take a nap after his brain blasts is cute. |

| When the actual Jack the Ripper started speaking I was like “Askeladd!” really missed that voice. They say William staged that robbery to make everyone accept James Bonde but it was more like to make Moran accept James Bonde (￣▽￣) When James Bonde got those robbers in just one punch and one kick while counting in the dark, that was cool. Anyway, I still can't with that name, I literally giggled each time I mentioned ‘James Bonde’ and just saying Bonde feels incomplete XD |
| Seems like Bonde's a slow-to-warm-up type of learner, but he's adapting to the crew as soon as he receives guidance. I gotta say, I find it interesting that Adler adopts the Bonde persona quite strongly, makes me wonder if (s)he is doing it for the sake of preserving his/her life or it's their true identity. Also, I'm beginning to think that the director just wanna use the names of well-known criminals/folk-lores to add in extra spice/dark, edgy elements to Moriarty's name. Jack the Ripper?!?!?!1 Dude... Either way, I'm excited to see Moriarty's next move. |

| Once again, William forms an masterpiece plan. Well not for killing nobels this time. But to close the bond between Bonde and the other members. That was quite obvious, cause why would an bank robbery happen out of nowhere.. It worked well. And OFCOURSE! An anime around the 19-20th century without Jack the Ripper wouldn't be COMPLETE. Jack, a buler, warrior and now retired ig? will be helping William with the case of the phoney Jack the Ripper(S). |

| So this old man saw this little pyscho and say "I will teach how to kill" lol, this show truly shines when it focus on the Moriartys, sorry Holmes but is not like Ms. Hudson appear than often with you on the spotlight. Bonde was cool. The lack of Albert is the only bad thing from this episode. |
| Never thought I would ever see a crossdressing James Bond and Jack the Ripper working together. With the focus back on the Moriarty gang, I'm hoping we get to see how Moran and Fred met the brothers. |

| This anime is starting to loose me. James Bond. Jack the Ripper...What's next? Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde? Frankenstein? Peter Pan? What about the revolution? The cat and mouse game between Holmes and Moriarty? I hope the focus on these side characters is over soon. We already have enough interesting people to focus on in the main cast that need to be explored. I want to check out the manga and see if it's better. |
