It seems that episode 3 twist regarding Irene Adler had mixed response. For some it's an exciting development and some found it funny. So is it amazing or is it cringe?

| I found it hilarious but not in a bad way, why not I mean it's a manga adaptation where Moriarty is 3 brothers and all characters are hot guys, at least they made their own unique twist to the Adler story and hopefully the character can stay relevant |

| I loved it and how well it was done. What was cringe about it? Saw someone say it ruined the anime lmao like wtf? People are just so damn closed-minded that nothing can just be cool anymore it always has to be cringe... like grow tf up. |

| I really liked it honestly. It creates this really fresh backstory for the name and sets up the discussion of "James Bond is a job title" that they keep hinting at in the movies. So yeah, it's a really good choice on the author's part. This series deserves more hype than it gets. |

| The issue I had with it is that James Bond is a character created in the 1950s and has never been a shown to be a Victorian character. It just came off as "James Bond is English so it makes sense". I know the entire thing is already a huge fanfic based around Moriarty (I'm not criticizing it I like the anime) but it seemed somewhat uninformed. |

| Loooved it, adding a James Bond/Bonde (the subs I read said both) character is absolute class. I hope we get more crossover characters from British literature in the future as well because why not? Make it a love letter to British fiction |

I get it's initially based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's characters but now the mangaka has added James Bond there's like no limit, they could add the Doctor from Dr Who and I'd be on board lol |

| Just finished episode 3 and the first words out of my mouth were "Oh My GAWD!!" I'm not upset about it, but I was kind of wondering how the hell they're going to incorporate this later on since this new twist came out of nowhere. I'll be waiting for it in the endgame. It's clear the narrative is quite different from the original Sherlock Holmes stories, and honestly I've enjoyed this fresh new version of the tales since it still adds some suspense and mystery to how all of this will end. While the new twist seems weird at first, I'm totally okay with seeing it through to the end. Let Irene/James Bonde be the womanizer and spy we all know and love. |

It's pretty obvious that the government dude is just using her to keep tabs on the Moriarty family, and that there was no stolen information to begin with. I wish they would have concealed that better during her arc, that was very sloppy storytelling. |
