| I love the 1995 movie but what happened in the 2004 sequel? |

Oshii has always liked to use CG (he has been doing it since the late 80s on patlabor) but as much as I liked some of the cgi sequences in innocence, helped greatly by Kawai's score, after a while it felt like they were just showing off their tech. |

| It's loosely based on the 2nd manga, but I mean very loosely because Azuma doesn't appear and so on, let's say it adapts 5% of it. I think it was a good movie, it didn't have the big plot about the Pupeteer like in the 1st one but it was an ok case file. |
