The animation is not really good but the anime is still good , don't hate it like that , it's funny, colourful and the characters are also cool

I found it funny Netflix invented an adaptation that’s more than a manga and less than an anime. I can’t wait for a staff of more than 3 people to adapt the anime they won’t

Back Street Girls is similar to this anime. I Know that Back Street Girls is a cheap anime, but this is just trash.
I Can enjoy bad animation for comedy purposes, but this is beyond bad.

I was expecting this anime for a long time, I love the colors, the comedy and everything but the animation is weird and personally I think they could have done a better job. I love the story, the characters but the animation really let me down.

It was like JC staff took some panels from the manga, put it in PowerPoint, add some sound effects, and called it a day.

Ye okay it's a big bummer that it's motion anime, but the voice acting is SO good. So it being a motion anime didn't really bother me and i eventually got used to it

Probably no, but I liked it, and my sister (she started watching anime recently) enjoyed it too, I want to keep watching this anime with her ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

the source material is funny regardless of how the anime was produced and there was no way they could fuck that up, but if they actually just went the traditional animation route I promise you that the product would've been miles better.

I think this anime could be considered “good” for someone who just wanted to watch a “fun anime” without going into it with high hopes after loving the manga. There weren’t problems with the plot cuz it was more like short skits, but the animation totally threw me off. Or the lack of animation I mean lol. Anyone notice a scene in ep 5 tatsus birthday where miku is literally missing her nose. But I guess I kinda hyped it up too much but I think overall is was fine... Time to try the live action where the characters actually move.

They should've done better with the animation considering it was adapted by Netflix who has millions of dollars in supply. It just looks like a couple of google slides that were transferred to photoshop; then the person just drags things up and down with their mouse for "movement." The only good thing about this anime is the voice acting tbh.

It is not animated and wasn't meant to be. It's a motion manga. Personally I don't mind too much. There were some scenes that would've been better if they were animated(car, volleyball etc.) but for me this is a 7/10 adaptation

This animation is a specific style, and there have been many like it in the past, especially in the short form comedy type. I get that people may not be fans of it but I don't think it takes away from the show at all really. It every show can have or needs super nice shounen battle sakuga

I wish they had used a more normal animation style but I enjoyed the stories and got used to the slideshow but they missed the boat with this one. Esepcially as it was only a five part OVA
