| I agree, blurred backgrounds, pixelated characters linework and it looks artificial, old animes made with cel technique are getting new high quality scan with high resolution, that look sharp and detailed, nothing like this..¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

| Personally, the low resolution really bothers me. But I understand to each their own. It's kind of like the difference between low bit rate mp3 and FLAC. Some people dig the oldschool lo-fi style and some prefer hi-fidelity. Still, I honestly do think the potential of this series is hampered by the resolution. That's just my tastes though. I love this series regardless. |

Personally this art style is very much entertaining for me. And you might know that Megalo Box was tribute to Ashita no Joe's 50th anniversary. So, yeah, old, kinda oily art style really suited with the vibe, at least for me. |
