| There wasn't much of a cliffhanger, it was a solidly wrapped up ending. However, I think it may due to the amount of hate it may get in the future. I remember seeing multiple videos on how the fact that Langa is canonically gay and has a crush on Reki changes things. If they didn't kiss or get together, it would come across as invalidating towards the LGBTQ+ community like "even though he's gay, he won't get to express that and will just have to settle for a friendship." I don't really know, I'm definitely disappointed that they didn't get together, but I'm not outraged. I'm kind of used to the lack of LGBTQ+ representation in anime at this point, including representation that falls through and isn't really representation (characters called slurs, LGBTQ+ characters can't be together, die, etc.) So we probably won't get a second season, but I won't complain if we do. |

I’m quite disappointed too, however, I believe that if Reki and Langa were to become a couple, many sk8 fans would drop the anime unfortunately :c There have been a handful of anime that represent LGBTQ+ couples in the past, even subtly such was seen in the popular “Yuri!! On ice” and “No.6” for example but as far as sk8 the infinity goes, I think most viewers watch the anime for skateboarding and therefore, adding a relationship would drop viewers. Though, in retrospect it may cause more people to watch this anime due to having an element of boy love. Overall, like you, I’m quite dissatisfied with the un-canonical bond between them but I’m fine with them being seen as good friends too. If this anime were to be continued in either a movie or another season, some more scenes with Reki and Langa would be great! I feel like the whole side story of Adam getting a search warrant or something against him was a bit washed over, but aside from that I would really love a second season in the future - canon Renga or not! I 100% agree with you :) |

Go to the FANDOM wiki for LGBTQ characters. 99% of stuff there is accurate and interpreted correctly, and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and regarding it as canon. The things confirming Langa as gay are similarly accepted and portrayed as the kiss scene in Yuri on Ice, if that correlation makes sense. |

Some people say that they kissed there, but I have to disagree as you could definitely see Langa's head go to the side of Reki's and not directly connect like Yuuri and Victor |

I enjoyed the show for what it was, and the skating aspect was what was most important to me. I'm simply sharing info I've seen and heard (whether true or not) that could help to figure out if we get a season two or not. I'm content with everything as is. |

I always kind of had that vibe from a lot of the characters, and ADAM in the post-credits scene too. I would have loved that being the ending if that actually happened tbh. Was somewhat disappointed it didn’t. Nonetheless. Haven’t been this excited about skateboarding since Tony Hawk and the X Games lol |

| Does seem like they finished all the stuff in the first season. The end does not make me wanne see more - though it was a nice show. I'd rather see more of Carole & Tuesday ha ha. |
