| This anime is really neat. No dull moments, some cool animation with sick smears and the character designs and art style are reminiscent of Ishikawa Ken (not surprising, since he clearly drew a lot of the original manga's pages). This is definitely an OVA which does not deserve its poor reputation. |
| This might be one of the best schlock action pieces I've seen. There are no boring stretches, it doesn't push too hard on what story it has, it's varied, and Ginnai is a hilarious villain. "Not even Ginnai could survive that" becomes a lovable punchline by the end. |
| I wonder if Jack Baker fro Resident Evil 7 was based on Ginnai at all? This was okay; I don't like the end is so open-ended and that the characters are so flat. There were definitely some cool scenes though. |
| So they were saved by those white alien looking figures which one of them is black lion. That cliffhanger man left me wondering who are they and why did they save them? But Overall it wasn't bad and Ginnai was my favorite probably why I gave this a better rating. He was one tenacious antagonist and I was in his favor all the time, if it wasn't for those creeps he would've been done with them ninjas. 7/10. |

| Shishimaru's stupid recklessness costed everyone and it was very pathetically futile, but the payoff was good fights and violence with really high animation quality for its time. It kept me on edge seeing them trying to take down the invincible Ginnai in many ways. In the end, you could see Ginnai's arm attached to Shishimaru lost arm and he met the Black Lion aliens, wonder what strange fate is in store. Nice touch of a possible ship between Shishimaru and Hayabusa added to the OVA, but I think any further their ninja duty won't allow XD This was a short OVA, It was really enjoyable. |

| The summary could be... Ninja Vs Cyborg! set in medieval Japanese times but with extraterrestrial technology!!! In general was good, weak plot but a lot of action! The final battle was closed, but it was open for a future, because there are hidden plot. 5/10 kekeke |

| It kind of reminds me of Terminator. But this time it's mediaval and no guns etc. Enjoyed the battles. But story was indeed meh. |
| Loved this OVA, too bad there isn't a series to explain the story more, but nonetheless it was action packed with a great art-style, Ginnai is really a cool villain, I'll give it an 8, I really enjoyed watching it. |
