| Finally, we will get a deeper depth into Shinobu's past. There were many great shots when Koyomi introduced Shinobu, like Also, very amusing seeing Hachikuji again. Always fun to see them together. Strangely enough, there was no stuttering this time. Nevertheless, seeing Hachikuji being an obedient brat and grabbing Araragi while sucking his sweater was really amusing But ofc. the best part was his two kisses with Ononoki and Shinobu It was obvious such a perv as he couldn't resist kissing other girls while being in a relationship. Very satisfying he quenched Shinobu's jealousy with a kiss. |

| Really great episode! That was a great start to the arc, I am guessing we'll start filling in the gaps now, this arc will probably fill in those 25 ish chapters that Nekomonogatari White skipped plus what happened before she saved Hanekawa. Damn, we have Ougi at the beginning of an arc again, I really want to know about her. That "Darkness" was pretty creepy. Damn, Araragi kissed 2 Loli's in a single day lmao. Shinobu's reaction was really cute though, looking forward to seeing the Shinobu of 400 years ago. Shame we didn't get a Shinobu singing OP, but honestly I like the instrumental OP, it makes the arc feel more epic. |

| Wow, he got to kiss Ononoki and Shinobu back to back. I wonder if Hitagi also kisses other dudes behind his back or is she completely loyal, if she is I feel bad for her. Amazing ep, pervert Araragi is pure win. |

| Looks like this arc is gonna be Shinobu focused with the naming of it, but this first episode itself wasn’t really, it was more just Araragi and Hachikuji and also Ononoki lol, but I get we gotta start somewhere. And with the appearance of this weird bundle of kanji that’s apparently not a ghost things are a bit different than usual, I did really enjoy the biking scene as they tried to escape it, running from something you can’t see is kinda trippy and a different kind of scary, gotta commend Araragi for getting Hachikuji to rub her chest on him tho lol, as well as trying to look up her skirt for a ghost. And I liked the slight 4th wall breaking where Araragi was expecting Ononoki to know what’s going on but really she and no clue lol, she did get a kiss in tho which was kinda wild, and then later Araragi kissed Shinobu to get her back on his side of things, poor Senjougahara has no idea this lad is smooching up lolis behind the scenes lol. And now the ED has some Hachikuji and Shinobu visuals instead of Nadeko, no OP yet for the version I’m watching but I look forward to hearing it. Edit: I found out the OP for this arc is only on the Bluray version so I checked it out off of crunch and yeah that’s a cool OP, not the typical Monogatari OP but I really like it. |

| Okay. So this arc is happening before Nadeko Medusa and simultaneously to Nekomonogatari (Shiro). Got it. And man, first on-screen kiss and it was with Ononoki lol. (EDIT: He kissed Tsukihi back in Nise, right? Though I can't remember if it was shown...) Second on-screen kiss between Araragi and Shinobu was kinda hot, ngl. Looking forward to more backstory regarding Shinobu and her first minion. |

| This arc started with such a banger.. Man Araragi had too much fun here. Nice touches with Hachikuji, kisses with Ononoki and Shinobu. Hachikuji soon too? Seeing Shinobu getting jealous and flustered was a treat  My girl waited months for this. |
