Quite a realistic episode if you consider how motivated Leo and Jotaro are. Speaking of Jotaro, he is still working on that new technique.

As for Leo, the pressure is also on to improve himself. Imo, this turned out to be quite a tense episode especially for Jotaro. Life have unexpected obstacles.

It seems like Ninja actor / ballerina knows main guy from the time he saw the competition when he was young, and somehow became fan?

White owl case. Running away because everyone chasing it (like ninja actor?).

Main guy first thanked him for not quitting, then told ninja actor he wants to help him. Sprain from saving white owl.

People expecting too much of ninja actor just because he was a genius at young. Ninja actor worried about main guy failing.

When his wife died from accident, he also failed the competition. His family is the reason he keep going. That's why he decided to do it even when he sprain and Ninja actor told him to rest.

White owl found its owner, and Ninja actor gone again.

2 more eps.

Leo's backstory of watching Jotaro execute the Aragaki, and with his Ballet teachings, attempting to do the same for motivation?

Jotaro going ahead with completing the 4X turn Aragaki Mk II, that's a goal right there of constant trainings for achievement in preparation for the next competition. The real objective though, is seeing how both Jotaro the Gymnastics Samurai and Leo the Ballet Ninja have pushed each other through their best and worst moments.

Leo though, like Jotaro, has a reputation to live by...PUSH THEM TOO FAR AND THEY'LL BREAK. Welp, so much for being the people's "pride" instead of the sport as a whole.

After so much work done on Jotaro, Rei is left to fix her own dad's exercise injuries from time to time (which is the norm). Leo though is no exception, and having "two hands to clap" is the best medicine of support to overcome the hurdles of fear (be it Jotaro's loss of his wife Tomoyo, or Leo's growing pangs of pain).

GANBATTE Leo, you can do it!

Tomoki has amazing abs! Even just a glimpse of him shirtless, I can tell!

Tetsuo missing from the episode again, now with just two episodes left, I don't think I can satisfied with the ending, how about season 2, or better if continue until Tokyo Olympics 2021!

Leo's birthday-boy face while training with Jotaro and Tomoki was so cute >w< the change is quite drastic in his mood when he remind the past and also after the final argument with Jotaro. i dont think their motivations are very different, but Leo is still avoiding dealing with his issues and that puts them on edge.

only two episode left? i guess that somethings can be "solved" but there is so much to continue deepening! even would feel more real if Leo can't figure it out right now and has to take more time to get over it

All these backstories were really well made to be honest (and especially Jotaro's one which is heartbreaking), probably the most interesting episode for the development, loved it
Can't wait to see what will happen with Leo now.

So that’s how Jotaro hurt himself, wow. Leo’s backstory was sad, I can see why he wouldn’t want to dance anymore.

I've been so torn on this anime. I don't find it bad, but I don't find it all that good either? This was probably my favorite episode though. Because of the more serious tone it took.

I think one of my biggest problems with the anime so far, is that it's played itself more as a sitcom than a sports drama, which I was initially expecting it to be. The comedy in most of the previous eps just didn't work for me. Yeah, it has had other serious moments before this episode, but I really wish the tone of the other episodes matched the tone of this episode more...

We get more and more of Leo's backstory which was nice but again, up until ep 7-8 I couldn't stand his childish personality of pretending to be a ninja. imo it's more cringey than charming. SO seeing him show his real persona in this ep made me like him more. But it's a little too late with only two eps left.

with just two eps to go, I hope things don't get too rushed. I don't see how Jotaro is gonna get on the medal podium when he's competing against that bandana gymnast or the Chinese gymnasts. Unless plot armor shenanigan's makes him win

Speaking on the bandana gymnast, I wonder if they are gonna flesh his character out anymore, or if he will just stay this 1-dimensional jerk who just wants to win. I was hoping the anime would do more with his character, maybe get his back story. But with just two eps left, I don't see how the anime can do that w/out it being super rushed

For an anime I randomly chose to watch, I really like the characters more and more after each episodes. I like that we learn more about Leo's backstory and the way it is portrayed was really fitting... mah, poor Leo. Hope his time with the Aragakis helped him.

Fuku-chan back to its owner, its home. Leo would be too. Sadly, he didn't use a proper goodbye to Aragaki's family there. However, Jotaro, which was already find out about Leo true feeling and his intentions, pretty sure everything just be alright. So, he and his little daughter needed to trust his departur to be a better person, and could only give the support through his problem. And obviously it could be a strong motivation for Jotaro too. Its already burnt up his will, to overcome every hurdle, even with that unexpected sprain. He just needed to do it, without any fear on his back, like before. Did it good or regret it at the end. Hope Leo just pretty much learnt up with Jotaro dedication there that somehow could insane at some point ....

Well, 2 episodes left!

Great episode, even as when she was very young Rei was already very supportive of Joe.

Man, those "supporters" of Leo are crap for putting that much burden on him. That aura Joe was emitting when Leo was watching him compete was awesome. That's why Leo wanted to become a ninja, it's so he can hide like a ninja. Hide from all those expectations.

Jotaro too was really great this episode, got me worried when he was trying to save Fuku-chan at least all he got was a sprain in the foot. Let's go, show the world the Aragaki Mark II.

Another strong episode. In the end, Joutarou managed to accomplish his new Aragaki move so now let's hope that ankle sprain doesn't cause any problem during the competition.

As for Leo, we now know the full picture as for why he left ballet and it was mainly due to the pressure of being a prodigy. His backstory was indeed sad but hopefully with everyone's support, he will become "stronger" and will stop running away from the discipline he loves.

The more we learn about Leo the more I just wanna hug him right and tell him that he doesn't have to be perfect. It must have been so hard having so much pressure placed upon him at such a young age. I'm glad that he's learning more about himself whilst living with the Aragaki's, but I think it's time for him to face his troubles head on now!

It was nice to see more of Jotaro and Leo's bond this episode and how Leo has changed Jo's way of looking at life.

I highly doubt, mostly because they already focused on this in first few episode with his barque.

Leo is hartbroken ;-; </3 My feels!! Joutaro didn't need to press the topic if Leo doesn't want to talk about it. Apologize! And thanks for making him leave the house again :I

It was nice to learn more about Leo's past and it's heartbreaking the way others looked at him as a ballet doll without caring for the dancer's feelings :(

I get it that Leo is worried about Jotaro but you can't make a person quit if he has already made up his mind to compete. It's the same for Jotaro as well.
As for Leo, seems like he was pressurized a lot because of which he became like that.

I like that the show brings character development and sports together in a good way. Leo and Joe have more screentime this episode… Leo has gone through stage fright at this point.

Boring, I almost fell asleep. I don't know why the ninja has too much focus. It wasn't really necessary. So no Minamino character development?

Can't trust those wild owls, the only trustable bird is the exotic Big bird. Seeing ballet prodigy/ninja Leo struggling to meet people's expectations and also Jotaro's past was quite sad. Good thing adorable little Rei was able to make Jotaro feel better and I hope Jotaro on his turn is able to win so he can motivate Leo.
